"Hey kid, you know you were speeding?" Asked the cop leaning on the window. Luke sighed and nodded.

"Yes sir, just tying to get the lady home in time," Luke pointed at me, and the cop nodded at me.

"Well kid, I'm gonna need to see your license and registration," he sighed. Luke pulled it out all together of the glovebox and handed it to the cop.

The cop waddled to his car and ran some paper work, and came back.

"Okay kid, my partner and I decided to let you go for being responsible, but this will not happen again," ordered the officer.

"Thank you sir, and you got it," Luke smiled turning the key, and driving off after the cop got to his car.

"Did that just happen?" I giggled.

"Well love, I think it just did," He chuckled checking the speedometer every few seconds. I silently giggled to myself.

Luke dropped me off at Joy's house, five minutes before I was supposed to be there. He explained to her what happened and she nodded and smiled completely understanding.

Luke left and we walked inside.

"I like Luke, he's a good kid," Joy smiled at me.

"Yeah, he's sweet," I smiled at myself, thinking of his cute dimples and baby blue eyes and that blonde hair that just flopped over his eyes. I loved his little nose, and those lips. He was just perfect in general.

My small and pale body didn't even come close to his angelic one. My blonde hair was way lighter than his, and my blue eyes were almost cold. He was too perfect for me, so how was I this lucky?

I decided to go to my room and get ready for bed, but I saw Cal sitting there looking upset.

"Cal are you ok-"

"Leave me alone Winny. Never talk to me again," he cut me off and slammed his bedroom door. I took a deep breath and knocked on his door.

"Cal come on. You deserve better than her," I said with my forehead pressed to the door. He opened and I fell forward. He laughed at me.

"Whatever Cal," I said standing up, "you don't have to worry about me saying a word," I whispered, not out of anger, but something else. I walked to my room and closed the door, locking it. I sat on my bed and tears streamed down my face.

My whole life I have been laughed at by people I never liked, but now my own cousin is laughing at me. I'm so stupid for thinking that moving here would get me away from all of the pain.

I pulled the blades from my bedside table and began cutting on the same arm as last time. The blood drawing out of my skin between thin little lines. By the time there was barely any un-harmed flesh. I unlocked my door and peeked out to make sure no one was there. I tiptoed to my bathroom and locked the door.

I ran cold water over my cuts and wrapped them in toilet paper. I heard a knock on the door.

"Winn, I-I'm sorry," said Calum. His apology stung my heart, and I began silently sobbing.

"You know, I'm not sure what you want from me," I said behind the door, sniffling.

"Winny, unlock the door now," he said jiggling the handle.

"No, I'm leaving you alone. You should be happy,"

"Dammit Winny, I didn't mean that and you should know it," he spat.

"Go away," I sobbed. Thankfully it went quiet, so he must have decided to leave me alone. He can't just say whatever and then take it back, especially with what I have been through.
