Your POV
"Hey sluts", you say as you greet your best friends. "So... I failed my Spanish quiz..." Tyler says with a rather careless look. You and Josh look at him with straight faces and snap for him. You guys do this instead of clapping because you feel like it goes against the status-quo. "Guys stop", Tyler says, starting to giggle.
"I feel like I'm in an ongoing tap dance routine", he says. You and Josh stop snapping as you grow a confused look on your face. "... How...", you start. "How do you feel like... that?" you ask. "Because you snap so loud that it sounds like tap dancing", Tyler says as if it was amazingly obvious.
Josh lifts his hand and pats Tyler's shoulder. "Sure", he says.

After the bell for 1st period rings, you, Josh, and Tyler head over to the band room for Symphonic band. You play 1st chair trombone, Josh plays 3rd chair trumpet, and Tyler is one with the percussion. Today is Friday... and that means it's scale test day. Your band director, Mr. Loehr, likes to go by alphabetical order of instrument names. Once it gets to percussion, Tyler decides to do a 5-octave F major scale on the 3 key boards we have.
You just stick with your regular 2 octave scale. And Josh was supposed to do 2 octaves, but he couldn't because he put off memorizing it until like 5 minutes before you guys had to play. Once all the tests were done, Mr. Loehr let you all hang around until the bell for 2nd period. Once you packed up your trombone, and Josh put away his trumpet, you guys walked into the drum room where Tyler was writing sheet music for a marimba solo. "I should start a percussion choir", Tyler says.
You chuckle and say," But we already have a saxophone choir, a flute choir, and a trombone quartet for our winter concert". Tyler continues on by sighing and writing the many different key signatures for the piece he's writing. You and Josh sit on either side of him. "What's it called?", Josh asks. "I don't know yet... I might call it 'Before You Start Your Day'..." Tyler says, a little unsure of himself. "That's oddly specific for someone who doesn't know.", You tease. Tyler rolls his eyes and chuckles a bit. The bell then rings for second period. Tyler stays because he has Advanced Orchestra this period. You and Josh part ways to go to American Literature.
Once the two of you take your seats next to each other, you guys start to copy down 'The Word of the Day'. "That sounds fun...", you hear Josh mumble. "It's not fun at all though", you state, "It means 'much dislike'". Josh laughs and says, "Hey Y/N", "What", you reply. "I anathema you", he says, smiling.
You giggle and say, "I don't think you're using that right, you big dor-", "Dun and Y/L/N! Quit the talking.", Ms. Hooks scolds as she cuts you off. You tear out a piece of notebook paper and begin to write a note.

"Bye dork", you say to Josh as you guys part in the hallway. "Bye twat", he says back. Brendon catches up with you and says, "You guys are so fucking cute together". You look at him and pretend to puke. "No way...", you start, "I show much anathema for him". "...what?", Brendon asks.
"Exactly."
