29. Unanswered Questions

"Okay..." sagot ko rito even my curiosity is rising even more. After I answered ay tumalikod na ulit ako at pumasok na ako sa aking kuwarto.

Hindi ko mabilang kung ilan ulit na akong napabuntong hininga. Nakatayo lang ako dito sa kuwarto, nakaharap sa sofa at ni hindi ko pa nalalagay ang bag ko sa sofa. Kinakain ng iniisip ko ang utak ko kaya para akong nagiging tanga. Isang malaking misteryo sa akin si Vladimir. Kahit kinakain na ako ng curiosity ay wala naman akong magawa. Hindi ako kagaya ng iba na di titigil hangga't hindi nalalaman ang katotohanan. For short, mga pakialamera at chismosa.

Nagbihis na lang ako at pumanhik sa library. Parang gusto ko magbasa para madivert ang atensyon ko. Pumasok na ako sa library and the familiarity hit me. This is the first time I entered the vicinity but the abundance and arrangement of the books looks exactly the same back in Pandora.

I sweep my gaze into the row of book divider and some books are familiar like atlas, encyclopedia and other stuffs. I wonder if he read all these books. Even these books that is written by Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steele and other stuffs. He has this kind of taste? O baka naman they just put this books here just to fill the space.

I checked all the books where it is stories and I found one which is my interest perks up.

"Nalini Singh, Archangel's Blood...." A smile crept on my face. I've been dying to read this novel but I had no chance since I was so busy and this book has been already sold out from the market. Even with online orders ay wala akong makuha dahil walang availability. Maybe kung may second hand book on sale, baka may pag-asa pa but I don't have time to visit those shops as well.

Kinuha ko na ang libro at pumanhik na ako sa isang sofabed and I laid down there. The window is open and I can see the moon shinning brightly and the stars. I open the book and I started to get swallowed by the story. I am too drawn with the story and not noticing my surroundings. I am very swept with the Character of Elena Devereux who is a very cool female protagonist which a slayer of rogue vampires and a top rank guild hunter.

I can almost imagine myself with Elena. Our situation is kinda same. My life has been circulating with supernatural being just like her. The only difference is that, she's cool and I am not. My interest gone way up high when the male protagonist entered the scene. Rafael. The powerful archangel which reminds me of someone.

"When will you be coming?" A voice broke me out from my trance of the story. "I hope you will be coming soon. We miss you."

Biglang naisara ko ang libro dahil sa narinig ko. I completely snap out from the sea of trance with the story. And look for the voice where it came from. Wala akong masyadong makita dahil medyo madilim sa may bandang sulok at wala naman akong makitanb tao doon pero kilala ko ang boses na yun. Wala naman ibang nagmamay-ari ng boses na yun.

"We are waiting here. We can't wait to see you." Saad nito ulit na ikinataas ng ng aking kilay.

Who the heck is he talking with? He missed it? He can't wait to see it? To me he sounded like he was talking to a girl. He doesn't sound irritated like what he sounded earlier. Somehow, I felt tightening of my chest like I wanted to throw this book to the man I heard talking. I wanted to know who the hell is he talking with. Is he cheating on me? O baka may ibang babae ito sa US at ako pa ang maging kabit?

I can't possibly imagine if that is the case. Parang di ko matanggap na isa akong kabit. But heck, why my mind is so morbid? There are lots of possibilities and scenarios that can happen. Pero hindi ko pa rin maiwasan na yun ang iniisip ko. Praning lang ba talaga ako?

Nawala na ang gana ko sa binabasa ko. Ang kaninang kalituhan ko ay mas lalo lang nadagdagan at sinamahan pa ata ng selos na walang basehan.

Mabilis akong tumayo at ibabalik ko na sana ang libro pero di ko rin inasahan ay masasagi ko ang isang vase doon at bumagsak yun at nabasag.
