"Future Husband?" o.O chapter 10

Previously on You, Me And... Them:

"Aww dad!" cooed Liam "Now we're a family again! Family hug!"

"So, let's go home?" asked dad all happy

"Here!" I heard a girl's voice say as I looked up surprised at who it belonged to. Danielle.

I opened it and on the inside shined a beautiful bracelet with an infinity sign (my favorite) and a letter that read on the outside 'Read by yourself'.

I looked confused at her, like, why was she being nice? What does the letter say?

She hugged me tightly and whispered in my ear, softly "I'm sorry. For everything. I was wrong, please forgive me!"

I felt someone taping my shoulder and I turned around.

There he stood. The boy I loved but because of a stupid misunderstood I lost.

"Harry." I sighed a bit surprised for him to even look at me, he hadn't done that for a week

He grabbed my wrist and took me to the backyard.

"Maddi, I...I... do you love Zayn?" he simply asked

I looked down trying to say something, but nothing would come out. Do I love Zayn? :s

"Do you?" he asked again, once I took my time to answer

I slowly looked up.

"I... don't know." I whispered, looking into his eyes

"Then what is that Liam's spreading around?" he questioned, looking very hurt

"What?" I asked, not being aware of what has been said

"That you guys are in love and blah blah blah. He literally just introduced him to your father as your future husband!" he said enphasising the future husband part

Surprised I turned to look at him, wide-eyed, not believing what just happened and again hid my face in my hands.

"I'm sorry!" I whispered, not receiving a reply

He slowly nodded as agreement but I knew that he's very hurt with all of this.

"I just want you to be happy. That's all." he replied, which sounded a lot like goodbye

"I'll try and fix this. I promise." I said, and once again he nodded

 "Oh here you are! Come inside it's time for cake!" my dad interrupted

Dear Madisson,

I know that I haven't been the best person ever, that I've been treating you wrong for too long, and that's exactly why I'm writing you this.

I want you to know that I'm deeply sorry for everything I've done to you. I guess I was jealous of your relationship with your brother and sometimes that would make me feel left out when you were there, but I understand that you guys need each other once you've been each other's only family for a lot of time and the fact that I would do those things and hurt you just made it harder on you along the way. I don't expect you to forgive me right away but at least tell me if you're willing to let me be a part of your family and being able to help you, not make you feel worse than you probably feel already.
