town
she sat at the
front seat
of the bus
wondering if she'll
ever get to see
the vibrant colours
of his irises
as dusk settles
over him
in his
town
he walks to
school
earbuds nestled snuggly
in his ears
and wonders when
he sees her
if her hair
will flow
behind her in waves
as they run barefoot
hand in hand
straight into
the water
they wonder if they'll ever
get a
chance
to say
"I love you"
