10/6/18
You trembled under covers, it wasn't cold
A sleeping angel with a nightmare dream
I held your hand, kissed your forehead
And like a mother, i hugged you till you fell asleep
I cherished our moment and i crave it
It wasn't all a lie, it wasn't an illusion
It was perfect, we were perfectly entwined

Now I'm falling asleep with strangers
Trying to fill that emptiness
I cherish your presence within my hollow soul
I breathe into the darkness
For the devil may have mercy on me
I smoked all the weed you left in my heart
I'm still trying to figure out that part
You went away. I let you go. It's all the same
Except that it's not.
Now you're all in my poems, just a figure of speech
You're only a color within my dreams
And, I'm still a walking void of space

Those pills will work, and the sun will light
My candle won't burn out like every other time
I will have a heart of stone, unbreakable yet not mine
And a mind that's restless, crazy enough to hold us captives

For we will always stay together
Even tho we're miles and miles away
Destiny and fate might be in our favor
For all i ask for is mercy upon my soul.
