Chapter 16

"I don't know anything about you and you know everything about me.. We spent 5 years together and I don't remember"

She didn't know about him but she felt safe with him. She knew he would look for her and find her, that he would be there for her when she was at need.
She trusted him her life the whole time.

He chose to die every time just so she could live again.

"It's fine.. We can make those memories again.. Or different ones. No matter what will happen to us, I will look for you, I will find you and make you mine again"

He said and placed his hands around her waist.

She got even more red and touched her stomach. What was that sudden feeling?

"I actually..Wouldn't mind if you did.."

She muttered and he let out a giggle.

"You were always like this you know.. I loved the shy side of yours and I still do"

"I-I am not shy!"

She yelled and lifted her head to face him. He touched her cheek and smiled but let go of it after a couple of seconds.

Their position made her feel very embarrassed but she didn't mind, deep down she liked it.

"Hey.. Say, how do you feel about me?"

His expression changed, he tried to look serious.

"Unfair.. That's so unfair"

She said and looked away.

"I know that I love you, what about you?"

He stared into her eyes although she wasn't looking. Her cheeks were on fire.

"Do you want to know?" she muttered.

"I really do"

His calm answer made her stomach feel even more weird.

She did a small pause.

"Close your eyes"

She said without looking at him.

He closed his eyes without questioning it, his stomach was driving him crazy too.

She grabbed his face, placing her palms on the side of his jaw.
She leaned closer to him and took a deep breath. He was so beautiful, his big slanted eyes were trying to hide behind his black hair but failed. She was so afraid he might open them and suprise her. Instead, he slightly smiled, he couldn't hold himself anymore.

She didn't smile back, although she was embarrassed as well.

She leaned and placed her lips on his.

He tightened his grip around her waist bringing her closer on his body. He felt just like the first time they actually kissed, yet it was different.

He fell in love with her again.

She pulled her lips a few seconds later and looked at him. His cheeks were red as well.
He placed one of his hands on the side of her cheek too.

"Now you do"

She said and both of their eyes met.

"I wanted to do that for so long"

He laughed. He smiled and leaned closer, placing his forehead on hers.

"I wish we could stay like this forever"

He said as his thumb was slowly moving right and left on her skin.

She thought of the same thing but she did not talk. She wished she could stay on his arms forever, where she felt safe.
She moved and placed her head under his and rested her ear on his chest.
She was able to feel his heartbeat, it was very fast and so was hers.

Suddenly the air in the room got cold, they both got dizzy although they were on the floor. They knew it was about time for them to return in the timeline they belonged to.

"Thank you"

She whispered and holded him even tighter, he smiled and did the same thing.

She closed her eyes and felt as if the room started moving, making her fall asleep.

He is so warm, his arms around me make me feel so safe. I wish we could stay like this forever too, without the feeling of getting hurt or being afraid to let our last breath haunting us. This is so peaceful

I wouldn't mind at all if I died this way. I think I am falling in love with him, he loves me more than anything and he has proved so multiple times.

I feel as if the room around me starts moving, doing circles. He relaxes his hands and they slip on the side of my back.
I guess he is feeling dizzy just like I am. I can not open my eyes nor talk.
So I guess it is time for us to return where we belong.

I'll be waiting for you Minghao, I'll find you no matter what.
