Chapter 15

Silence.

She couldn't hear anyone's voice.

Some footsteps were heard, coming closer to the kitchen.

Mira was dizzy and her sight was blurry, but she got better as two people stepped inside and stood infront of her.

She gave them a look and pulled herself, hitting her back on the chair, her head spinning relaxed.

"You.."

She pointed at the boy, she could barely see his eyes which were hidden behind his blsck hair.
She sounded scared, her finger started shaking.

"What about him?"

Hana said, standing behind him.

"Why are you afraid? He is a friend of mine" she continued.

Mira didn't respond, but Hana didn't seem to be waiting for her to do so.

"First I will explain it to you, for the 14th time, because it would be unfair if you didn't know. Believe me and trust us both, relax. "

She was acting very softly, she smiled trying to comfort her.

"I brought you here in order to save you, this place is safe but as soon as we suspect that those guys are around we will have to leave"

Said Hana and the boy interrupted her.

"However, this won't happen tonight."

He whispered, Hana nodded and looked away from him.

"I don't like repeating myself so I will tell you just the important things. In five years from now you killed her because of a fucking break up and I am here to change the future. Simple"

He said and gave her a slight smile.

"And how are you planning on doing this..Minghao"

Mira muttered and avoided eye contact with him.

Hana turned to face her suprised.

"Hey you.. How do you know his name? I haven't told you yet"

You could tell by her voice that she was anxious.

"No.. I've heard this a lot of times.. At least that's what I think.. Or remember.. Ah"

She touched her head again and shook it.

The two standing looked at each other confused, then again at Mira.

She finally lifted her head and revealed to them her red eyes that were covered in tears.

"What have I done.."

She whispered to herself and Minghao rolled his eyes.

"I've had enough"

He sounded very mad.

"Wait!"

Hana yelled and grabbed his shoulder.

Mira sobbed and started crying very loudly, covering her face and wiping away the tears from her cheeks.

"How could I.. No this can't be.. It feels so real"

Mira said while crying, it was hard to make sense through her words.

"Do you remember?"

Hana talked to her but she didn't respond on that question.

"I would never.. Oh my god why.. I am really sorry!"

She screamed and kept crying.

While Hana was waiting for her to answer, Minghao was standing still as long as she was holding him.

Mira calmed herself after a couple of minutes and looked at Hana.

"I-I.. I think-No, I am sure..I do remember.. I killed you Hana! I did!"

She yelled and started crying again as she saw Hana closing her eyes, nodding at her.

"I did it! But why are you here then?How! What is going on?"

She screamed.

"You know what? I don't need to know, you don't have to protect me anymore"

"We weren't planning on doing so from the very beginning"

Minghao sounded pissed off but was holding himself because of Hana.

"What.. All the other times.. You tried to save me right? Right!?Ah my head.."

She touched her forehead again and shook her head.
Memories from different locations and situations were filling her thoughts, she was unable to put them in order.

"You just don't remember the previous times, those guys managed to kill me when I managed to kill you too"

Minghao's nostrils widened and so did his eyes.

"This time I won't fail , I swear that's the last time I am returning to this time of my life.."

Mira kept crying, she didn't know how to react to his words but she couldn't hear most of them since she was too loud.

"I will make sure Hana lives on, happily with or without me. She never deserved the fate you caused her"

He was looking at her so angry, as if he was holding back all these emotions the whole time.
It was the first time Hana saw this side of his.

"Your crying pisses me off, shut up"

His legs started shaking, he looked as if he wanted to jump on her and tear her face apart.

But as long as Hana's hand was on his shoulder, he didn't dare to do a move.

Mira sobbed and wiped her nose with her sleeve.

Hana squeezed Minghao's shirt and lifted her head to face her friend.

"I see..so you do remember"

Her voice was so calm. Comparing to Minghao, she was the exact opposite.

"I can not wait any longer!"

Minghao yelled and took out a knife from his big pocket. His eyes had turned redish from his anger.

Mira stopped all the sudden and looked at him scared. The sight of the knife made her tremble, she was afraid of the thought being pierced by it.

"No wait! Please.."

She covered her own mouth and cried quietly, knowing that if she were to piss him off more he could attack her with no hesitation.

"Do you feel it? That's what I felt when you did what you did to me.."

Hana whispered to herself.

"That's it-" Minghao tried to move but Hana tightened her grip.

"What! Isn't this what we had planned? Let me d-"

"No!" Hana yelled and looked at him with strict and serious eyes.

"I will do it".
