The cafe was very quiet, people were talking to each other, laughing and drinking their coffees.
"And I guess it's this one?" Mira picked a card and showed it to the girl in front of her.
"Yes, this is my card"
She didn't even look at it, she was relieved seeing that Mira was there, safe and alive.
A boy wearing a hoodie ran behind Mira and rushed outside the cafe.
She got up and followed him ignoring her friend's questions.
Once the boy stepped outside, he checked the street and took a left turn. He was speeding up as the time passed when he finally started running.
It looked as if he knew someone was behind him, although he did not even turn his head for once.
She was trying to keep up with him, where could he be possibly going?
She wasn't paying attention around her until she lost him, he was way too fast for her to reach him.
"I am so stupid! How didn't I notice?"
She yelled at herself and fell on her knees as she smacked her forehead,
There was a white car a few meters away.
The two tall guys from the very start were there, she knew she would die any minute now and then return back, but she was still afraid.
It was hurting as hell, every time the bullets were piercing her chest and head.
Although everything was happening very fast she was still able to feel the sharp pain, it sucked.
She wasn't moving but waiting for them to do it. She would think of something else next time..
But how many times does she think she could return?! Deep down she was terrified of the idea that this could he her very last moment , nobody wants to die anyways!
The men's footsteps were becoming even louder as they were approaching her.
She closed her eyes and hugged her legs, like a scared little kid.
She was hoping for the boy to show up and save her, even if he were to fail again.
But not this time.
He wasn't there.
He wasn't there to smash their faces, kick their guns , hold her in his arms, even watch her on the ground from afar.
She was all alone now.
A tear ran down her cheek as she realized this before everything went black.
