Special Short: Haunted Bathroom

Start from the beginning

"Don't die, Daniel we'll be right out here. Scream if you need us, it's not as unmanly as you think to scream." Vasco said as Daniel felt fear grow worse.

'I'm gonna die, but if the rumor is false then I'll be standing there looking ridiculous.' Daniel thought as Jace held open the door as Daniel walked in.

The bathroom was cold as Daniel felt chills even through the one of the warm jackets Jay had given him on his birthday.

Walking up to the closest mirror with the candle in hand, Daniel looked at his reflection that was shadowed.

Nervously and trembling, Daniel held up the candle first before hesitantly holding up the note next.

In a shaking voice Daniel said the words, "I know what you've done."

Daring to look past his reflection, Daniel looked to see....

Nothing.

Unless you count the stall doors.

Daniel sighed in relief as he placed the note down along with the candle and looked down.

So the story wasn't real thank God-

A hand fell on Daniel's shoulder as Daniel jumped in his skin.

Looking at the reflection, Daniel nearly let out a scream.

There behind him stood....

"Jay?! What're you doing here?! You scared me almost to death." Daniel exclaimed.

Jay was wearing a black plain hoodie with ripped jeans, converse on his feet.

"..."

"Huh? You fell asleep since you were so tired after school and fell asleep in the stalls? I'm surprised you could fall asleep in this place it's so cold in here!" Daniel said as he laughed.

"..."

"What am I doing here? Well Vasco and Jace wanted to see if the rumor of the killer's spirit was still haunting this bathroom. Zack and Mira are here too! It was silly of us to believe that the story was real." Daniel answered as Jay watched him silently.

"Let's go home, Jay I don't want to waste anymore time here." Daniel said as he picked up the candle that was still lit and threw the note into the trash.

Jay stood there, right in front of the mirror, he looked back at it.

Daniel waited for Jay but seeing as he was unmoving called out to him, "Jay, let's go home. Let's leave this place."

Jay looked at Daniel, the candle illuminating his smiling face and his other hand outstretched.

Jay smiled as he reached out towards Daniel, gripping his hand tightly.

Daniel didn't seem to mind the cold hands since the bathroom was cold it was understandable to why it was but what Jay said next puzzled him.

"..."

"Uh... I forgive you, Jay." Daniel said as he blew out the candle and opened the door, Jay's cold hand still in his.

Daniel saw Vasco, Jace, Zack, and Mira standing out there scared and a little expectant.

"Daniel you're okay! We heard screaming and tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge!" Vasco exclaimed with tears running down his face.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. I screamed because Jay surprised me." Daniel explained but was met with confused looks.

"Jay?"

"Jay's not here."

"The bathroom was empty when you entered, Vasco and I checked when we arrived earlier before all of you."

Daniel was now confused.

"But Jay was in there, he accidentally fell asleep in a stall after school." Daniel insisted as he remembered that he was holding Jay's hand clearly and spoke to him.

Looking to the hand that held Jay's Daniel was met with nothing.

The lingering feeling of Jay's hand still was there but nothing visible was there.

"Look Daniel, I think you need some sleep. Let's go home." Jace said as they began walking.

Daniel looked back at the bathroom door one last time as he walked.

'If that wasn't Jay, who was that? The killer? No way..... why didn't he kill me?' Daniel thought as he walked home.

-The real story of the ghost-

"Stop! Stop! Someone help!" the helpless one screamed as the attacker proceeded to continue to kick him in the ribs, a crack heard audibly.

"Shut up! You're nothing, you hurt my sister's feelings when you rejected her for another man! You're a disgusting piece of crap!" the attacker screamed.

The door to the bathroom slammed open as the assumed Killer stood there.

"You?!" the attacker glared at the new person, "You're the one this trash pile chose to be with!"

"..."

The attacker lunged at him but was dodged and grabbed.

His head was slammed against the mirror as the 'killer' ran to the wounded.

"...?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. It's look out-!"

Wounded the victim, stood in front of the 'killer' as a single gunshot was heard.

"!"

Catching the shot one, the 'killer' glared at the attacker who had brought a pistol.

The attacker trembled as he laughed with hesitation and dropped the pistol, "Haha.... now you feel how my sister felt when she didn't get to be with the one she loved!"

He ran out as the killer gripped the body of his dying lover.

"..."

"It's not your fault....I don't have much time left."

Tear drops hit the victim's face.

"I forgi-"

The hand that the 'killer' held with his went limp.

Placing the body that had a pool of blood underneath, the killer staggered over to pick up the gun.

Cocking it to his head, the 'killer' walked to where his lover laid and placed a chaste kiss on his still warm lips.

"I love you too, I'm sorry please forgive me for not being able to live without you."

BANG!

The two were found dead, one soul able to move on while the other stayed only to be able to be free to go by a look alike that forgave him.

The two reunited in the afterlife.

-End of the Ghost's story-

Cookie 1:

"So you really weren't there Jay?" Daniel asked over the phone.

"..."

"I see, sorry for calling late at night."

"..."

"Alright, good night to you too." Daniel said as he hung up the phone.

"So the story really was true.... I'm glad I survived and I hoped that guy moved on."
