Chapter Thirteen

"Are you planning to destroy my company?!" Bungad ng ina ni Julian kay Anya.  She smiled faintly, sumandal si Anya sa swivel chair looking uninterested, napansin niya ang secretarya niya na nasa labas ng pinto marahil ay nagulat sa paghysterical ni Julia.

She just simply nodded at her waving her hand to close the door and the secretary reluctantly does it.

''I didn't hear you enough, care to repeat it again, Mrs. Villafuentes?" Anya replied unhurriedly, making Julia more redder in irritation as usual, mas lalong nanlilisik ang mata niya sa galit.

"Nang dahil sa pagdelay mo ng budget para sa isang project ng kompanya, isang malaking investor ang nawala, for pete's sake, my company losses 20 million deal!" Sigaw nito sabay sa paghampas ng mga documento sa lamesa.

Napataas siya ng kilay, ang plano ay isa isa niyang tatanggalan ng investors at shareholders ang kompanya nila and when she was able to cut all of their money sources, doon niya I pupull out ang shares niya leaving them nothing but a million debt that way.

She hide her smile. Thanks to her savior, Marie, she's a Stanley's heiress, making an irresistible bargain at the investor behind their back, wala siyang problema sa pera.

"Hmmm.'' Anya muttered when she was reading the document. "Okay."

"Okay? Is that all you can say? Okay?!"

"This was a somewhat unfortunate event, but don't you believe it's unfair?"

"Unfair what?"

"Unfair that you blame me all of this.''  Anya said, pretending to be hurt at all.

"Though pinadelay ko nga ang bugdet for the project, but it was all for the maintenance ang stuff, isa pa bakit ko na naman sisirain ang kompanyang kasama ako?"

Julia smiled at her  in disgust and shook her head. "Hindi ka kasama sa kompanyang ito, nakikisawsaw ka lang."

"I have the legal right to be here, kung talagang napakahalaga ng investment na iyan, pwede naman na ako-"

"You had done enough, we don't need your filthy money, " Julia cut her right away and lifted her eyebrow. "Even you're the head of the secretarial department in your old company that wouldn't make you a millionaire, who knows a nobody like you may pass around her legs to some old rich men to make it to the top."

Isang sarcastikong tawa ang binigay ni Anya sa kanya.

''Look who's talking. Actually, I heard your romantic story about how one day you showed yourself with your pregnant belly in the Villafuentes family, which drove the original wife insane and caused her death--''

''Wala kang galang!''

Pinigilan niya ang pagsampal sa kanya ni Julia. ''Respect is earned, Mrs. Villafuentes, not given. Besides, you are the first one to play dirty.''

"You-"

"You know what? Kung di ka mka move on sa pagkawala ng investor, bakit di mo unahin yang mga empleyado mong kabilang sa project na iyan, baka sobrang bulok ng proposal kaya hindi na naghintay pa ang investor." She said, completely intending it out to be rude.

''Bulok? How could say that when si Kate ang magiging model sa product na I endorso.''

Muli napataas ang kilay niya.''Kate? Right, your favorite woman. Why don't you just ask Julian to marry her? Para naman hindi na siya gumamit pa ng drugs para makakuha ng lalaki, how pathetic.''

''What?'' Natigilan si Julia kaya naman ay napatawa siya.

''You don't know? Well kung ako lang naman si Julian hindi ko na rin sasabihin sa iyo, it was embarrassing actually.''
