Things that make you happy

I think that this is a tough question....
There are many things that I enjoy, but to achieve real happiness with just small actions is really hard.
Of course there are small things like being with your friends and joking around or making someone feel better when they are sad. These are all valid points, but what I want to talk about is real fulfilling happiness that you should be working on achieving within your lifetime to make you say "I lived a happy life".
And small little thanks certainly help but I think you have to commit yourself to something or maybe someone to really be happy.

I first want to talk about that something.
That something can be anything. Maybe your dreamjob, that was not only your way of getting to afford stuff but also your passion that drove you forward through hard times. Being able to maybe help others with what you are doing can be a really good feeling.
But maybe it also is your hobby. A hobby that lets you feel fulfilled and satisfied. It can really be anything as long as you have the passion to drive it forward and let it be a part of your everyday life. For me that would be reading and writing, but also programming.
Of course, this can vary from person to person, and is a part of your character and personality.
But all in all, these could all be things that make you feel truly happy on the inside.

Now that someone. This is a bit more complex than the something.
Because, it can also be anyone, but because this is something nobody has ever truly been able to explain.
Of course there are friends in your everyday life that make you feel the temporary kind of happiness.
But the kind of person you only meet once in your life, what some people call soulmate, this is the kind of person to most likely make you feel happy.
Meeting your true love must be an experience unlike any other in your life. And being able to live together with that person, making him more important to you than you yourself, to define your happiness over theirs is probably the kind of happiness that most likely will make you feel the true, pure kind of happiness.
Love is probably the purest kind if happiness out there and can change your fundamentaly. Being loved makes you happier than anything other I have ever experienced.
I guess I want to say that you need love to be truly happy. To be happy not only for others, but also for yourself. To really make you think, I am happy.

I uess this was all really deep and stuff, but this was something I didnt have a chance to talk about with someone and it made me want to express what I truly feel.
And, lets be fair. Isn't that was this challenge is all about?

Until next time guys, have a cookie on the way out 🍪
Buh-bye!
