{A/N} I'm planning to finishing this story before new year comes. So expect constant updates!

And, I'm also on a break (been waiting for it too) it has been an exhausting year for me T___T

Anyways, ENJOY!!

HARU

Haru swam not because she liked sports, nor water itself. She swam because she knew how to. Her dad enrolled her in a swimming program near the neighborhood when she was eleven. He enrolled her not because he wanted his children to be good at sports, nor he liked the sport himself. He got free six months long classes from a company where he worked, and the classes only meant for kids from the age nine to twelve; Hillary was too old, and Hiro was too young, Haru it was. So much for the encouragement.

Still, swimming gave some type of solace, the calmness of chlorinated water surrounded her body whilst she was floating, eyes facing the bright sun and shady trees of the pool area. She did not love it or hate it, she liked the idea of having some type of physical activity that she could do great in, but she hated when the water went inside her eyes, ears, and especially the nose, she hated drowning.

But now, she was drowning.

Her face was covered by a cloth, smelled of detergent and was rough on the delicate skin of her face. For a moment, she was calm, despite fully aware that her hands and her ankles tied up around the chair she was sitting on. Then when the cold water came, crashing on her face, her heartbeat amplified, and all those lessons of holding your breath underwater were left forgotten.

She tried to trash herself, but the chair she sat remained unmoved, being held by someone behind her. Her lungs burned, and her nose clogged with too much liquid. Her insides screamed.

Then it stopped. The cloth removed from her face. Oxygen sucked right inside her.

HUNTER

Hunter was strong. Despite the pain of guns, sharp objects, and punches, he was willing to accept them and eventually healed. He was meant to be strong. He has been trained to fight back and to win them. But, when it came to the people he loved, Hunter melted.

He too, was born to love. A boy who was born in luxury, luck, and power, their only purpose in life was to love. And love he did. To his parents, to his cousin, to his Bratva, to his Kiseki and to his Haru.

However, to born to love was a terrible curse; because he was also to born to hurt.

Hunter was informed that a bomb sparked at the moment when he came running to Haru outside the shop. He was told that two civilians died with 7 injured, getting treatments in a hospital. Ray told him that he would cover it up as a pipe explosion. Luca told him that he was unconscious for hours because his body threw back from the explosion and broke the glass window of the cafe.

He was told that Ash Lockhart kidnapped Haru.

To love was to care, to care was to get hurt.

Hunter watched the live stream in horror. A gripped on his shoulder barely moved him from where he stood. He felt terrible when he started to panic when Haru trashed.
