It was almost midnight and he still wasn't home. Where could he be? I watched as the clock ticked forward one second... two seconds... three seconds... four. It was 1 in the morning and Josh insisted he would be home on time at 9 but he wasn't. These days he never was home on time. What could he be doing?
After a few more days in the hospital, Josh was released and he confessed that he had feelings for me. And of course I admitted that I liked him too, but sadly, that's where the feelings stayed. Just another thought in the back of my head, still staying friends. We still texted each other here and there but before we knew it, the end of our Senior year of high school came and I was left with a lingering feeling. I couldn't shake the fact that I was in love with him and didn't want to leave. I needed to see him once more before I couldn't so I went to him.
