Instead, I stood up and sat down next to him, and hugged him. I hugged him really tightly. He has been through so much. His body moved around so he was facing me and his arms snaked around my torso into a hug. I didn't care about anything at the moment except him. I couldn't stop hugging him. I knew his struggle and I was determined to help him. Eventually, he let go of me and looked at me, his face red from crying again.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cry on your shirt," He said through sniffles as he wiped at his nose. I thought that it was cute.

"Don't worry about it. I've got plenty of shirts. So I've been wondering, if you don't mind, would you be my friend?"
