Trouble with Sister...

"I don't own a 'Monopoly'."

"Don't worry. I do. We can go to my house to play but I need to use your bathroom first."

"Why don't you use yours? I mean that in a nice way."

I laughed. "Yeah, I know. I like your bathroom more."

I ran up the stairs before he could figure out what I was up to because he was running to catch me.

I reached his room, opened the door and ran to the closet. I opened it just as he grabbed me around the waist. All that was in the closet was clothes- all that I saw, anyway.

I turned around and wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him.

Five seconds later, I quickly removed my hands from his neck and ran into his closet. I pushed the clothes apart and there they were. There were about ten trophies there.

"Whoa."

"That was clever, Kat but I'm going to get you back for that."

"Sure you are. Come on, let's go play 'Monopoly'."

We walked into my house and I walked upstairs to get the game.

On the way, I passed by Aidan's/ the guest room. I knocked.

"Come in."

"Hey Aidan. Nate and I are gonna play 'Monopoly'. Do you wanna join us?"

"Sure. How bad can it be, right?"

"That phrase is so cliche."

When we walked downstairs, I explained to Nate that Aidan would be playing with us. Surprisingly, he was cool about it.

In the end, Nate won.

I woke up and looked at the clock.

I darted up. Shit shit shit shit! I'm so late. I grabbed my toothbrush, stripped my clothes and jumped into the shower.

Aidan could've at least woken me up. I swear I'm gonna kill him when I see him. Nate too. 

When I hopped into my car, it was 8:00. School started already so I'd need a good excuse.

I arrive din record time so I sped to the office.

"Sister Annie, can I please get a pass?" I asked my aunt.

"Katherine, why are you late to school? Do I have to report this to your parents?"

As if they'd care...

"No, Sister. There were some technical issues, that's all."

"Ok," she said, writing a pass. "Don't let it happen again."

She was very forgiving. 

"And where's your tie?"

"Oh, it's in my bag. I was in a hurry. Sorry."

"Just remember to fix it."

"Ok. Thank you for the pass."

I went to my locker, got my Bio book and fixed my tie.

I walked into class, getting ready to face thee torture of the teacher's wrath for being late. However, there was a substitute there who let me off the hook easy. I assumed the substitute didn't know that I wasn't supposed to sit next to Nate so I sat in the empty seat next to him.

"You could've woken me up." I whispered to him.

"I told you I'd get back at you." He said and winked.
