8 [Finale]

One day Jungkook sees Jimin hugging Taemin goodbye at the mall and he loses his mind. He doesn't understand how Jimin could leave him and be with someone else without any explanation especially carrying that person's kid. Was he never enough? Is that why they never had any intimacy? Is that why Jimin left him? Once he sees Taemin leave, he drags Jimin into the dressing room of the store and locks him in demanding answers

Jimin doesn't answer to anything but when Jungkook’s voice cracks asking why he couldn't be the one to father Jimin's baby he cries

“It's yours..” Jimin whispers making Jungkook pull away from Jimin

“What?”

Jimin sadly nods his head explaining to him the whole story as he breaks down crying - starting from the point of Jungkook's first accident and passing to the deal he made to be away from everything and everyone he knows and loves to give Jungkook a second chance at life

And just as he was about to kiss Jimin to calm him down Jungkook wakes up to find himself in the hospital with Jimin sleeping whilst clinging on his hands

“Jimin….”

“Jungkook you are awake. ..Oh my god. .”

“What happened?” Jungkook asks confused

“You were in a car accident on your road trip. You were unconscious for a week. You are okay and your friends are okay too. We were just waiting for you to wake up” Jimin smiles while he brushes away Jungkook's bangs from his eyes

“I had the weirdest dream… I dreamt you broke up with me and that you are pregnant” Jungkook chuckles making Jimin's smile falter

“.. how did you know I was pregnant?” Jimin asks surprised  making Jungkook’s eyes widen

“You are?”

“Yes… it's only been two weeks though..I fainted when I got the news about you and when they did some tests..they found out...”

“Well I must be psychic..” Jungkook laughs before sitting up to pull Jimin onto his lap

“Hey you are still unwell… you shouldn't. .” Jimin's words were cut off by Jungkook kissing him

"Thank you for loving me. Thank you for our child…” Jungkook whispers making Jimin relax in his hold

“Thank you for being alive…” Jimin says before kissing his forehead and going out to call the doctor

Jungkook looks at Jimin leaving before looking to the side where there was a bright glow

“Thank you for the second chance” Jungkook smiles at the figure who smiles back at him “Thank you for letting me come back to my Jiminie….” Jungkook sighs at the fading figure before looking back to where Jimin just exited from “Thank you for choosing me over your own happiness”

A/N: I don't know why this note was deleted but here goes : Jungkook was the one the man talked to first after his death, the deal was offered because the man saw that Jimin's love for Jungkook was real and he wanted to test it more . Jungkook had no say in the deal since the choice was based on what decision Jimin made. Jungkook was asked to refuse Jimin's request to see if Jimin would actually cut all contacts with Jungkook in exchange for Jungkook  to be alive. Jungkook forgot the whole deal thing when he wakes up the first time after the break up. Jungkook remembers everything that happened after he woke up the second time in the hospital, while Jimin forgot everything. That's why he thanks the man for giving him a second chance and internally thanks Jimin for sacrificing his own happiness and everything he knows to stay away from Jungkook so that Jungkook can live
