From Dylan:
so i counted. you wrote your name on my cast 28 times
To Dylan:
i wanted to make sure that you could see it at every angle
From Dylan:
i’m also loving that nice, manly butterfly there
To Dylan:
right
To Dylan:
about that
From Dylan:
what?
To Dylan:
i didn’t want to say anything in case you got mad
From Dylan:
you’re scaring me
To Dylan:
no, it’s not bad!!!!!
To Dylan:
have you heard of the butterfly project?
From Dylan:
no.
To Dylan:
it’s a project for self-harmers. whenever you feel like cutting you’re supposed to draw a butterfly on you and name it after somebody that wants you to get better and if you cut before it fades away, it dies. if it fades away it lives. and no scrubbing it off.
From Dylan:
so you drew it on my cast
From Dylan:
so that i couldn’t wash it off even if i wanted to
To Dylan:
i just want you to get better
To Dylan:
are you mad at me?
From Dylan:
of course i’m not mad at you
From Dylan:
it’s just a lot to process
From Dylan:
you caring about me so much, i mean
From Dylan:
and i can’t promise you anything but i will try very hard to not kill this butterfly
To Dylan:
that’s all i could really ask for :)
