I hear my phone buzz in my pocket. I slide it out at turn it on. A text from Simon in the group chat.
Miniminter : Hey! You guys ready for tonight? I can't wait! I've got my character sheet filled out and ready to go!"
Zerka : I've got the story ready to go! #DMsRule!
Me : I still need to fill out my background a bit, but I'm good to go stat-wise.
Behz : We're still meeting at Josh's house right?
Zerka : Heck yeah dude! You guys still on for bringing snacks?
Behz : Everybody likes pretzels right?
Me : Correction - everybody tolerates pretzels. That's why I'm bringin' cookies'
JJ : Of course you are Vikk.
JJ : I hope you guys like cookies, cause that's what I got too.
Miniminter :Well, I've got soda! Orange And Grape Crush, Mtn Dew, Cherry Coke, and Sprite. Something for everyone.
Deji : Hell Yeah! I've got potato chips covered!
Harry : Well...
Harry : We probably don't need three people to bring cookies. I'll stop on my way over and grab some candy. Requests?
Me : ooOoOoo can I have sour patch kids?
JJ : you would want the kids Vikk. #molestar
Me : Oi Oi #stopVikkAbuse
Miniminter : man dude, I could srsly go for some lemonheads right about now
Zerka : think I could get some Swedish Fish?
Harry : Sure thing, anybody else?
JJ : nah man. I'm good. I'll just steal from everybody else.
Behz : ^

Harry : Ok, so the total list is : Sour Patch kids, lemonheads, Swedish Fish, and skittles for myself.
Me : Sounds good! See you in a few!
We continue to chat for a while, bantering back and forth, et cetera. As the clock approaches 5, I grab my character sheet and head out the front door. I arrive at Josh's house to find I'm the last one to arrive. I park a bit down the street, since there were already five or so cars parked out front, and head inside.

I just want to apologise now for my mediocre writing skills. I'll try and keep grammer and spelling mistakes to a minimum, but I'm no good at writing a narrative. Regardless, I hope you guys (and girls [and others]) enjoy.
