Recap...

...as I climbed up the stairs, I heard a faint sound of music and it took me a few seconds to realise that the sound was coming from Rob's room. When I got to his room, I knocked twice and went in after noone answered "Robert I-"

"What the actual fuck!" I yelled as walked in on Robert kissing a blondie. Caught off guard, Robert and the blondie, who turned out to be Kayla, the school slut looked shocked.

"Oh my God. Abbie I can explain. It's not what you think" Robert said, obviously trying to cook up a story.

"Explain what Rob? Thirty seconds ago, you were shoving your tongue down her throat. What explanation can justify that?"

"Abbie, please calm down. It's really not what you think. Kayla and I were-" before he could complete his sentence, I interrupted.

"Shut your mouth and shove your explanation up your asshole Robert. We're done." With that, I stormed out of the house.

Thirty minutes later, I arrived at my dad's house and saw my mom's car in the driveway. Could this day really get any worse? I tried to prepare myself emotionally for whatever I was walking into. I've been through a lot today, and the last thing I need right now, is to have an emotional breakdown and cry in the middle of a confrontation with my mom. Not while I'm pissed, so pissed at her. When I got in, mom and dad fixed their gazes on me.

"Hey mom. Hey dad."

"Pack your stuff. We're going home" mom said, curtly.

"I beg your pardon?"

"You heard me Abbie. Go get your things. You are going with me"

"You can't force her to go with you Laurel. Let her stay if she wants to." Dad said, trying to convince her.

"Stay out of this conversation Nathaniel. This is none of your business." Mom replied.

"How dare you walk into my house and tell my daughter to pack her things and come with you. She's not leaving Laurel. The only person that's leaving this house right now is you. Get. Out. Now." Dad said with rage in his voice.

"Nice try Nathan. But you can't get rid of me that easy. Abbie is our daughter, not just yours, and I'm not leaving without her."

"Can't you see she doesn't want to come with you?! She doesn't even want you here. Leave right now, or I'd call the cops Laurel."

"Really Nathan. Is an empty threat all you've got? Do you really expect me to believe that you'd call the cops? What do you want our daughter to think of you? Do you really want her to see you as a father that called the cops on her mother?" Mom replied, trying to blackmail dad.

"I think you're mistaken Laurel-" I can't take this anymore.

"Stop it! Both of you! I can't take this anymore!" I yelled, successfully getting their attention. "You don't have to fight over me. I'm sorry to burst your bubble mom, but I'm not leaving with you. Not today, and not after what I saw last week"

"What nonsense are you saying Abbie? What did you see last week?"

"You know just what I'm talking about mom. Don't try to act all innocent. I saw what happened in the kitchen on Friday." For a split second, she looked shocked.

"Ohh. That." She said as she tried to think of something to say.

"Yes mom, that. Here I was, thinking dad was a bad guy, and he cheated on you. You just got divorced, and you brought a strange man to our home. You didn't even have the decency to take him to your room, and now you want me to come with you to that same house. Not happening."

"Shut up Abbie I'm your mother! You have no right to talk to me in that manner." Was all she could say.

"Oh yeah? Well act like it. What sort of mother leaves her daughter alone at home at night, only to come home by 1am with a man and have sex in the kitchen? Of all the places you could do it mom. You chose the kitchen"

"Abigail! Again, you have no rights, whatsoever to talk to me like that. Secondly, I'm a grown woman, and I can have sex with whoever I want, wherever I want, and whenever I want. My sex life is absolutely none of your business young lady. Now go inside and pack your stuff. You're going with me, and that's final."

"I don't want to go with you. Dad tell her I don't want to go with her. Don't let me leave please. I want to stay." I said, as tears began to run down my face.

"Listen to me Abbie," dad said, as he moved closer to me and drew close for a hug "I know you don't wanna leave" he cupped my cheeks in his hand "I don't want you to leave either, but you have to. I promise to come and pick you up whenever you call me. If you need some time to think or clear your head, you can come here. I'm so sorry Abbie." He kissed my forehead.

"Okay" was all I could say.

"Good girl. Now let's go" mom said, walking out of the house.

"Stop crying sweetheart. Call me if anything happens, and I'd be there in a heartbeat" he wiped my tears and gave me another hug.

"I love you dad" I sniffed.

"I love you too princess"
