The New Girl

Chapter 15

~Joey's POV~

I was sitting at home when I heard Lily's howl for help, it was the first time I ever heard her howl, so I know something bad had happened. I ran out of my house to see the whole pack outside and waiting, I shifted into wolf form, and bounced towards the pack. Lily's dad looked at all of us, then howled back to Lily.

"What do you need help with Lily?" He howled in the air, we waited for a anwser. It made me nerves knowing that she needed help and I wasn't there to help her, we may have broken up but I still love Lily, She was my mate. Finally she anwser back.

"Riot's been taken by Hunters. Her dads an old leader of Mist Pack and her moms an ex-Hunter, and her grandfather kidnapped her so that he can kill her and her dad in hopes of getting his daughter back into Hunting again." Lily's howl echoed back to us, the pack gasped in shock and started talking to one another. Lily's dad watched them with unreadable eyes.

"We shouldn't help!" A older wolf barked, Lily's dad looked at him.

"And why not? She has nothing to us for us not to help." Lily's dad said, the older wolf, I think his name was Blake, snarled.

"Didn't you just hear her? A Hunter! You know those people who hunt us down and kill us, yeah those people!" Blake snapped at him, Lily's dad narrowed his eye. He jumped down from where he was and walked up to Blake, being an Alpha he was much bigger then normal werewolves.

"Now you listen here, that girl is friends with Lily and Lucas. She is part wolf, when I ment her I knew something was special about her, and now I know what it is. She is Lucas's mate, he does not know yet. Her being half a Hunter means nothing, it just proves that Wolves and Hunters can live together. Now we're going to help them! If anybody has a problem, I'll deal with ya'll later!" He snarled and howled, the whole pack looked at eachother, to see if anybody would stand up to the Alpha. I padded up to him, my blonde fur priking at all the eyes I could feel looking at me. He stared at me with narrow eyes, daring me to go against him.

"I'll help, I don't want anything to happen to Lily, and I know that if Riot gets hurt Lily would be hurt at the lost of a friend. I'm with you every step of the way." I barked at him, he smiled a wolfy smile. Soon the whole pack was ready to help.

"Joey tell Lily we're on our way." He said, I nodded and lifted my head
