The sky broke like an egg

into full sunset and

the water caught fire.

For those who hold an
unknown power within them

| summary |

It's been three-hundred years since
the dragons of old returned to Earth—
seeking riders, and protection
from the unknown.

Cameron O'Malley, is one of such riders.

He and his tribal dragon Kimani, have
lived in peace and poverty for as
long as they could remember. Racing for
money in draconian tournaments
across the country of Cordelia;
where dragons walk the streets in the
bodies of mortals, notable only by the
marks on their skin.

But when an evening out becomes
much more then a stroll through the skies,
Cam and Kim find themselves in the
company of a second dragon.

. . . a water dragon . . .

Now they are being hunted by an
army of unknown power, for a reason
they do not know.

Will Cam be able to keep his promise,
and protect the dragons whom
which he loves?

Or will he fail, and lose his closest
friend, and destined lover?

Secrets will become known; humans and
dragons alike, will suffer at the
hands of a prophecy to come; and in the
end, war will lay waste to any who try
and fight for the truth . . .
