I walked downstairs and walked into to the kitchen and made breakfast for August. When I was done making breakfast I made his plate and set it down at the table. " babe your food ready " I yelled so he could here me " He came downstairs and went in the kitchen eating his food. "Bae why you not eating " he asked " oh because I'm not that hungry " I said looking back at my phone " he nodded his head " I got a text from Chris saying he wanna hang out and go out to eat. I texted him back and told him yes I got up and grabbed my purse and walk to the kitchen and seeing August washing his plate out. "Where you going "he said putting his plate up and turning around looking at me " I'm going out for a little bit I'll be back " I said giving him a kiss on his cheek "Ight " he said walking to the living siting on the couch. I walked outside to my car and drove to the spot where Chris texted me to meet him at. I saw him and I got of the car and ran up to him and hugged him. "Chrissyyyy"I said giving him a hug He hugged me back " wassup ma"he said smiling
Later that day Lani pov After me and Chris got done hanging out he walked me to my car. Aug pov So Lani left hours ago i been calling her phone like ten times already and she not answering it's already 6:45. I was downstairs watching tv when Lani and the same nigga that was at the hospital with her. "Is that the singer kehlani with Chris " tmz lady said as a picture pop up with Lani and Chris hugging "I thought she was with August Alsina " another person said. I turned off the tv, I'm mad asf bout now so that's what she was doing all day wait till she get back.
Lani pov When I got home corrie called called me and told me to look the tv. As I was watching it they showed A picture of me and Chris hugging I sighed and went upstairs to see August in the bed. He got up and walked over to me and slapped me . I can't deal with August shit anymore so I called Chris and told him I was coming over. When I got there I walked inside and Chris ran over to me "Lani what happened to your face "he said mad "August "I said through tears He pulled me into a hug and held me close "It's ok ma you staying with me for a while " he said kissing my forehead " He walked me to his guest room I took a shower and put on my pjs

I walked over to the bed and laid down but I couldn't go to sleep. So I got up and walked to Chris room and knocked on his door *knocks* "Come in" he said in his sleepy voice "Hey sorry if I woke you up, I couldn't sleep can I sleep in here " I said nervously " "Of course ma , come here " he said smiling at me "I walked over to the bed and laid down and he pulled me close to him wrapping his arms around me . " thank you for letting me sleep in here " I said looking at him in his eyes . "No problem ma I gotchu "he said smiling at me 'We talked for a while and I really like Chris for some reason when I'm around him I feel safe and protected'. I started falling asleep so did Chris "Goodnight baby girl " he said kissing my cheek When he did that I had butterflies in my stomach " goodnight Chris " I said smiling at him then going to sleep still in his arms .
