It has been 10 years since that day. You are now 17 and proudly roaming the seas, looking for that same boy that Makino had always talked about. Though now you started to feel hungry and decided to stop somewhere to buy some food. You floated around until you came across some place called the ¨Baratie Sea Restaurant¨. When you started to get closer, you noticed a ship with a straw hat on its' jolly roger.
'I wonder where I have seen that before........' You dismiss the thought, and step out of your boat, heading inside the restaurant. You see that it is mostly a calm normal restaurant except for one group of people laughing and acting obnoxious. One has green hair, like moss, a girl with orange hair, like a tangerine and a boy with a long nose and black curly hair. Finally there is a boy with raven black hair, red vest and a straw hat. You quickly realize they were pirates. Curious, you walk over to them. When they notice you walking to them, they stop laughing and stare at you.
"So you guys are pirates huh?"
The man with green hair is first to respond. "Yeah, got a problem with that?¨ He slowly starts to unsheathe his katana. You notice and slightly smirk.
"Easy there moss-head. I just wanna talk." you reply calmly.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME!!!!!!!" Long Nose, Tangerine girl and Straw hat can barely hold their laughter in.
"Wow it must really be hard for you to hear in that sea of moss, you should really use those katanas for something useful, like a hair trim" you try to bite back your laughter. Meanwhile, the others can't hold in their laughter anymore and burst out laughing til they're crying. By now all eyes are on the group.
Finally tired of talking to Moss head, you move towards the straw hat boy, who is still laughing, and before he can react, you have your dagger up against him throat.
"Mind telling me who you stole that hat from?" You grab the hat and place it on your own head, dagger still at his throat. Now the boy finally stopped laughing.
"HEY!! GIVE ME BACK THAT HAT!!! I DID NOT STEAL IT! IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY SHANKS!!"You gasped upon hearing that name and lost your focus. You felt something cold and sharp against your side, recognizing it as Moss Head's katana.
"I thought you just wanted to talk." he says."I do." you say, pushing the blade of the katana away from your side. Now if you put away your weapon, I will put away mine. Could you hear me that time, Moss Head?"
Moss Head looks at you with a death glare but puts away his katana. You put your dagger back in your sheathe. Then you grab the nearest chair and sit down. "Sorry about that. When I saw you with that hat, I thought you stole it. Now, mind telling me how you know Shanks?"
"Yeah. I am Monkey D. Luffy! Iḿ gonna be Pirate King!"
Your pupils grow wide as you realize that this was the boy you were looking for. The one that Makino always talked about. The one who ate the Gum-Gum fruit, friends with Shanks was standing right in front of you. "L-Luffy? Luffy from Foosha Village?" you ask.
"Yeah?" He pauses for a moment and then remembers you as 'the mean girl' that punched him. "EEEEEEEHHHHH!!!!!! I remember you! You were that mean girl that punched me!!"
You grow three tick marks on your head ¨IS THAT ALL YOU REMEMBER ME FROM!!!!!!!!!" "Yeah........."He pauses again and remembers something.
Flashback
"Really! There is a girl my age here!!!?!? Luffy asks with a bright smile.
Makino giggles, nodding her head. "Yes really! She loves pirates just as much as you and wants someone to play with! But her father is a Marine so she is not allowed near the bar as much."
Luffy makes a frowning face at this. ¨Her father is a meanie! When can I meet her?¨
"Every Tuesday she sneaks into the bar so that she can visit. So she will be here tomorrow, but I am disappointed she won't be able to see Shanks today...."
"Oh yeah!! Shanks is back today!! SHANKS! SHANKS!!" Luffy yells as he runs the bar towards the dock. Makino just watches laughing. Luffy is almost at the dock but then crashes into a girl with (h/c) and (e/c) eyes.
End of Flashback
Luffy snaps his fingers, recalling the memory. "Oh yeah! Makino said you wanted to meet me."
Y/n smiles at that memory "Yeah, but we never got the chance." "Well what are you waiting for? Introduce yourself!! Shishishi!"
Y/n nods, "I'm Y/n. Y/n L/n. Nice to meet ya, Monkey D. Luffy!"
