Love Lost

The Beginning

Victoria moved away from all the drama of last year. She started anew by disappearing a semester. Living in solitude away from everyone she left behind. The summer was the most difficult for her, lost in her mind with nothing to distract her she fell into a deep pit of depression and despair. During the end of summer she went to a mental institution and became a new person. She lost her feelings and became numb. Victoria was no longer afraid to be herself, she had no fear of anything not even death as cold and unfeeling it is. Before school started again she decided to become a part of society again. When she went to that school that destroyed her she felt no fear of being a part of it again. That day of starting again is when she saw the one person she missed without knowing it. Luna was with her boyfriend and Victoria knew she needed to fix the relationship, that was her escape from the madness. Luna was here for her when everything happened last year. Victoria pushed her away though and left her in silence. Seeing Luna caused Victoria to text her and from there things got better. She was getting her friend back. A feeling she never thought she would feel again rushed at her all at once, happiness. They talked and caught up with each other. Victoria was starting to feel emotions again she felt human instead of robotic. Talking to Luna gave her a new hope that things would be different. Things went great at first her friendship blossomed into a beautiful fragile lily. Luna told her of everything that had happened during Victoria's disappearance. Victoria started to feel bad after learning everything horrible that happened to Luna. She had gone through a boyfriend who would make her strip naked whenever she came over, a boyfriend who raped her and accused her mother of having child porn. Victoria had gone through her own shit though. Like being in a mental hospital for five days after having a mental break so bad she didn't know who she was anymore. After her pity party she pretended everything was okay and that she was a carefree badass now. Luna liked this she liked the new Victoria so she kept up the facade. A couple days passed of texting each other nonstop and school started. They had one class together but they had a fun time in that one class. One weekend they hung out for the first time in forever and Victoria had so much fun she didn't want it to end ever. They grew to be the best of friends, but Victoria started to fall. Victoria knew she can't love Luna like that she can't fall for her, it happened anyway. They soon started spending almost everyday together. Victoria got high for the first time with Luna. They would do everything together. Steal from stores together, Luna would cry about boys and her stupid boyfriend. Victoria would always listen wondering why she didn't just leave. Cain would pretend to love Luna like he used to. He would barely text her, barely see her, barely be there. Victoria was there though through all of it. She would hold Luna when she would cry over Cain doing some stupid shit again, she would give words of encouragement when Cain would disappear for what seemed like weeks. She was there for Luna no matter what, she even got into trouble with her parents just for Luna. Then the fateful day came, Cain said he didn't want Luna spending so much time with Victoria, and like a good little dog Luna listened. They started to part once again. Luna would talk to Victoria some but not like before, they didn't see each other as much anymore. Then Cain left and Luna fell apart. Victoria tried to be there for her but she let Luna know how she truly felt and Luna didn't say much about that. Luna came over to Victoria's house to be distracted from her heartache. A mutual friend of theirs came over to give Luna a hug. Victor knew how Victoria felt towards Luna and would joke around about it. That day when he came over he joked and asked Luna would you ever date Victoria? She said no I wouldn't want things to ruin our friendship I like how things are as is. Victoria shattered hearing this, but she didn't let that show Luna could've only said that because Victor was there. Victoria would talk to her about it and see if that's how she truly felt. After Luna had gone home something horrible happened. One of Victoria's exes sent pictures of her to one of Luna's exes who wouldn't stop asking. Victoria didn't want Luna knowing of this so she didn't tell her when it happened. Victoria was already dealing with her parents constantly fighting her mother not liking Luna her father telling her mother shes crazy for this. Things were hectic but she knew she could handle it she was strong and had gone through so much before. This was just a bump in her road of life, she still had her best friend that's all she needed. One day Victoria forgot her happy pill she didn't realize this though. Luna was being distant and Victoria freaked out. Texted Luna saying she felt they weren't friends anymore and that she felt like she ruined that by telling Luna her true feelings. Luna didn't say much besides that she didn't fuck things up that everything was okay and that Victoria needed to chill. She couldn't though she knew deep down that what was good turned bad.
