His face lights up. "She's great! She's actually going to have her own little pugs running around in a few weeks." He smiles wide, obviously proud of her.
"Aww, really? Please tell me you'll let me see them first!" I exclaim, smiling.
He laughs, "Sure thing." He says.
"I thought I was gonna be first.." Matt mumbles, frowning.
"Sorry buddy, I kinda owe Kelly, remember?" He tells Matt.
"Yeah, yeah, I remember." Matt sighs sadly.
I giggle, "So are pugs your favorite dog breed?" I ask.
Hunter's smile falters, "Well they are now but they were Nathalie's favorite.." He says, smiling sadly.
"Oh..how is Nathalie?..you're both still together, right?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
He swallows hard, "She um..she broke up with me recently, I guess long distant relationships are tough, heh..." He chuckles sadly, looking like he's about to cry.
First, Nathalie moves away, then his parents divorce, and now Nathalie dumps him? I stand up abruptly, causing all of them to jump slightly. I walk around the table and wrap my arms around Hunter, giving him a tight hug.
"Kelly?" He says my name, confused.
"You seem like you need a hug." I reply, still holding him tight. It doesn't take him long to wrap his arms around me and pull me closer to him, hugging back just as tight. He buries his face into the crook of my neck and I feel his tears hit my skin. Matt and Reese stay silent the entire time.
Eventually, Hunter pulls away and wipes his eyes. "Thank you." He smiles sheepishly.
"Anytime." I smile back and walk back to my seat.
"Y'know," Matt pats Hunter's back in a comforting manner, "if we were older, I'd take you somewhere...special." He tells Hunter. I snort. "Get your mind out of the gutter, I meant somewhere he can take more photos." He explains.
"Take photos?" Reese repeats, cocking an eyebrow.
"He's a photographer." Matt replies.
"Obviously not a professional.." Hunter adds under his breath sheepishly.
"That's awesome, Hunter! What do you normally take pictures of?" I ask, smiling.
"Lots of things. Mostly whatever I can get a good angle or view of. My main focus is supers." He admits.
"Woah! Really? Have you gotten any of them yet?" I ask.
"Yeah, mostly of them in action. I've rarely gotten close to them but uh..it's fun to meet them." He says, smiling.
"Can I see them?" I ask.
"I don't have them right now, sorry. Maybe you can see them some time this week?" He suggests, smiling.
"Sounds great!" I smile back.
Matt sneezes again and coughs right after. "Ugh, my head is starting to hurt now. I'm gonna ask the nurse if I can leave early, bye guys." Matt says, standing.
"Bye Matt!" We all say, watching him leave. I can't help but feel bad.

Two taps on my window woke me up. I thought it was all in my head when I didn't hear anything else so I roll over, my face burying in the pillow.
"Kelly?" I hear a voice whisper.
"Hm?" I reply sleepily, falling asleep quickly.
