CH 42 THERE IS NOTHING HOLDING ME BACK

'Nah, I am not in the mood of singing' I told him,
'What is your favorite drink?'Ellie asked me,

'Vodka shots and Whiskey neat, but mostly I prefer Vodka' I told them,

'Jake, also love Vodka and Whiskey' Ethan told me,
'Good to know, since he is not here' I said, sadly

We reached the bar, it was a big classy bar as Ethan told me, their was a big dance floor on which many people were dancing, and some making out, the stage in front of it, and the bar in the side,

The lighting was decent, unlike other dim bars,
We sat on the stools, in front of the bar, and Ethan ordered our drinks,

I looked up on the stage, a male singer just finished his song,
'Does anyone want to come up here, and entertain everyone with there voice?' The singer asked on the mic.

I looked down at my drink as it arrived,
'That would be me' A very familiar voice said from between the crowd,

'Come up bro, do your thing' the singer said to the person who volunteered,

He walked to the stage from between the crowd and climbed the stage,

The singer passed him the mic.,
'So this song is for my girlfriend, Emily' the person said, and on this I turned around,

And what I saw, left me speechless,
Jake was on the stage, the mic. in his hand, he was not wearing suit and pants, but a t shirt, leather jacket and jeans,

And his hair, was not groomed as usual, but were a hot mess, and he was looking at me, smiling

I covered my mouth with my hand, i was so surprised,
I looked at Ellie and Ethan, they were looking at me grinning widely,

'Did you guys know about this?' I asked still surprised,
'Yes, but believe me we have never heard Jake sing, and he is going to sing for you!' Ellie told me,

'Oh my God!!' Was my only response, I looked back as the music started to play,

I recognized the song by the tune, it was 'there is nothing holding me back' by Shawn Mendes,

He started singing,
'I wanna follow where she goes,
I think about her and she knows it'
And his eyes were fixed on me, his voice was god damn beautiful,

Everyone, was gathering in front of the stage, to cheer him,

And the crowd went crazy, when he sang the chorus, and pointed at me, while I was grinning widely,

He did a backflip, while singing the chorus and everyone cheered wildly, it looked just like a concert, but it was different, it was specially for me,

While singing , the chorus, the second time, he climbed down, the stage and jogged towards me,

Till he reached, me the slow part of the song started, he held my hand with one hand, and the mic. With the other, and sang looking deeply in my eyes,

'Cause if we lost our mind and we took it way to far,

Cause if you're by my side and we stumbled in the dark,

Then he pulled me, to the stage as he sang the same lines again, he climbed the stage and pulled me up,

And sang the chorus again, but looking at me, while I clapped my hands on the tune, like the crowd was,
Smiling and looking in his eyes,

Then he sang the last line, coming closer,
'I feel so free when you're with me,baby
Baby there is nothing holding me back.'

As soon as he finished, I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him, which he returned instantly, and the crowd cheered for us,

But we didn't gave a damn about them, and continued our kiss,

While I was still kissing him, my eyes closed, he picked me up, not leaving my lips for even a second,

And climbed down the stage,  and walked to the bar where Ellie and Ethan were sitting, still kissing me,

He sat down on a stool, where I was sitting before, me in his lap, his hands around my waist still kissing, it was definetly, our longest kiss,

But my lips just didn't want to let go of his, and the moans and growls he was giving me told me the feeling was mutual
'God, you two have a lot of stamina' Ethan said,

as we broke our kiss, as I giggled putting my head on Jake's chest, and Jake, gave him a 'you ruined the moment' look

'Did you like the surprise?' Jake asked me, smiling,
I gave him a quick kiss on the lips, before saying
'I loved it!',

Jake smirked, and kissed me again,
'Gosh, just get a room you two' Ellie said,

Jake broke the kiss, and looked towards Ellie, and smirked,
'Good idea' he said, then looked at me,
'Do you want to go to a room?' He asked me,

I shook my head, at his eagerness,
'Can't you wait till we get home?' I asked him,

He huffed,'okay fine, but you are a goner once we reach home' he said to me,

And I blushed at that,
'Let's drink!' Ethan said,
'What would you both like to have?' He asked Jake and me,

'Vodka' We said in unison,
And Ellie and Ethan laughed,
'You like vodka too?' Jake asked me,
'I love vodka, no one can drink faster than me' I told him,

He raised an eyebrow,
'Is this a challenge?' He asked me,
'You are on!' I said,

'Woohoo, boyfriend vs. girlfriend challenge' Ethan shouted,
And brought two bottles of vodka, handing one to both of us,
'The one who finishes first wins!' Ellie said,

'Ready, go!' Ethan said, and we started to drink from the bottles,

I was already half way through, when Jake was just starting, Ellie and Ethan cheered as we drank, I finished my bottle and put the empty bottle on the counter

I looked towards Jake who just finished now, and kept his empty bottle beside mine,

And looked at me,
'I won' I said,
He was shocked how fast I was,
'Are you alcoholic or something?' He asked me, I laughed at that,
' i haven't had drinks for 7 months' I told him,

'Finally we found someone who can show you up brother!' Ethan said to Jake,
And Ellie and I laughed,

'My love can show me up, I have no problem with that' Jake said, smiling at me, caressing my face with the back of his hand, I looked in his eyes and smiled at that,

We walked out of the bar, yeah I was able to walk easily even after getting drunk, because drinks show their effect on me after 2 hrs,

Ellie and Ethan were walking in front of Jake and me, to their car and Jake's car was parked near Ethan's car,

Suddenly, I heard a gun shot, I looked around, Jake came in front of me, the bullet which was gonna hit me, hit him.
