CH 16 SOMETHING STRANGE

Jake's POV,

walked to my room, thinking about Emily and how to make it up to her,

But when I entered the room, I saw something really shocking,

Emily was floating in the air above the bed, but her eyes were closed, she was asleep,

I ran to the bed and yelled her name, trying to wake her up,

'Emily!'

Suddenly her eyes opened and she fell on the bed, in my lap,

I held her firmly,

'What happened?' She asked, looking at me,

'You don't remember?' I asked her, how can she not remember that she was floating??

'No' she said, in a sleepy voice

'Nothing happened, You just fell from the bed' I said to her and she nodded.

I put her on the bed and walked to the table to get her some water.

'Wait, I remember everything' she said sitting up on the bed,

I looked at her,

'I am still pissed at you for making me drink blood, I hate you' she said,

I sighed in relief, she doesn't remember that she was floating, in her sleep, but it is still strange, even in the world of vampires, werewolves and witches.

I walked to her with the glass of water in my hand, and handed it to her,

She took it and turned away,

'I said I am sorry, I will never do it again, I will even make it up to you' I said to her,

She turned to me,

'How?' She asked,

'I will do whatever you want, but I can't take you to your parents' I said to her, and she frowned, but covered it with a small smile

'Then...' She said

I nodded, wonder what she will ask for?

'Can you take me for shopping?' She asked me excitedly

Shopping, that's what she wants to do, with a prince with so much money, well if it makes her happy,

'OK then, where do you want to go for shopping?' I asked her

'Hmmm, you tell me' she said

'Well  we can go to New York, Las Vegas or any other place, just name it' I said to her, she looked shocked

'What?' I asked her, she looked a little too shocked

'Don't you think they are a little...well you know, far for just a day for shopping' she said to me smiling, like I am joking.

'Yes they are for a day of shopping, but not for a four day vacation' I said to her,

'We are going for a vacation?' She asked me

'Yes where ever you want' I  said to her,

She stood up from the bed and started walking back and forth, thinking where to go, then she stopped and walked to me.

She sat beside me, and looked at me, smiling.
