Fade

"Now that you've won, will you grant me my freedom?" Esther asked me and I smirked
"No, not yet"
"Fadelemilori!" She yelled and I stood up
"Don't raise your voice at me, you still have one more task to do, then you'll be free" I said and she frowned before crossing her arms
"Yes?, what is it?" She asked and I smiled
"I want to be queen" I said and she laughed sarcastically
"There is already a queen and king Fade" she deadpanned and I smiled
"That's where you come in, the throne is rightfully my family's and you know it" I stated and she sighed
"The people didn't want your family Fade"
"The people are ungrateful! They killed my mother!"
"Your mother and father weren't ready to follow the customs and traditions Fade! They were bound to die sooner or later!" She yelled and I slapped her
"You are no different from the people Fade, you know you killed those people but you found your own sick way to declare yourself innocent" she sobbed and I sighed
"I'm sorry for hitting you" I apologized and she turned her face away from me
"I know you're punishing me for my mom's mistakes, but that's who she is and that's who I am. Once the royal family is deemed incompetent it is our duty to either make them step down, send them into exile" she said and I frowned
"Or kill them" I completed for her and she sighed
"She saved you and your sisters Fade"
"She also orchestrated my parents death! My family"
"Fade this is a suicide mission"she pleaded and I smiled
"So be it. So long as they all come to hell with me" I said and sighed before standing up
"So what's the plan?" She asked and I smiled
"Your daughter" I said and she shook her head
"Don't you dare bring Selene into this" she said and I laughed
"Selene was already in the moment she was born Tobi and you know it, by now she should've started seeing herself inside water" I stated as a matter of fact and she stood up
"If anything happened to my daughter I will kill you myself" she whispered angrily and I pushed her out of my face
"Well, your daughter is the new protector Tobi, she has come of age. So you can either make her be on our side, or you know the drill" I said and she picked up her bag

We walked into the airline Esther compelled us and I smiled
"Nigeria ma'am" she asked and I nodded

"Where are you taking me?" Made asked and I walked towards the woods
"Davis stop!" She yelled and began to thrash about

"Calm down okay!" I yelled and dropped her gently on the ground
"What happened?" I asked and she stood up
" What happened?"  She asked before grabbing my chest
"What happened!?" She yelled while tears streamed down her face
"What happened was that you made empty promises! Promises that you were unable to fulfill as an officer and a friend!" She yelled and I held her palm
"Made please calm down" I pleaded and she looked at me in a daze
"Calm down? calm down!? I came to America with the confidence that you were going to protect me!, that no matter what comes my way you'd stand by me! But all that was faux!" She yelled and I kept quiet
"Made, I kept my promise" I started and she raised her hand up
"No you didn't! You left me all alone for my so called best friend who also abandoned me! I trusted you!" She yelled and I walked slowly towards her with open arms
"I'm sorry" I said feeling the familiar sting in my eyes
"No you're not" she cried "I feel so dirty, so worthless, so used!" She yelled and I pulled her into a hug where she sobbed loudly and I silently
"And above all, I feel so cheated, I can't look at myself without feeling so disgusted Davis" she yelled and I payed her hair while rubbing circles on her back
"You're one of the most beautiful and pure ladies that I know Made, I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you, I'm sorry I broke my promise" I said and she looked up at me
"I can't even look at Jay" she said I cupped her chin
"It's okay, we'll go through this together and Jake, he's definitely going to face the law"
