Taehyungs pov

I wasn't tired, so I didn't go home. Instead I went to the dorm where the guys and I usually stayed. I figured at least one of them would be there.

I walked in to see Hoseok sprawled on the couch, eating ramyen, watching a movie.

"Hey Hobi-hyung, where is everyone?"

He answered without taking his eyes off the TV. "Jin is in the kitchen. Pretty sure Yoongi is sleeping in his room. Jungkook went home, his mom needed him for something. No idea where Namjoon or Jimin are, haven't seen them."

"They were at the arcade with me. I left before them."

He nodded and stuffed another mouthful of ramyen in, chewing noisily.

I walked into the kitchen to see Jin stirring a pot on the stove. I sat on a stool by the counter, and watched him for a minute. Finally he turned, and about jumped out of his skin.

"JESUS TAE... why didn't you let me know you were there?"

I giggled. "Mianhae. What are you making?"

"Spicey mixed noodles. Are you hungry?"

"A little."

He grabbed a bowl from the shelf, filling it generously with the noodles, and setting it in front of me, handing me chopsticks from the drawer.

"Thanks Jin-hyung."

Suddenly there was noise coming from the other room, as Namjoon and Jimin came in the door, both of them wanting to know what smelled good. Jimin popped into the kitchen to see.

"Oh, hey Tae. Did you get y/n to her hotel okay?"

Namjoon walked in just then, and grabbed a bowl, holding it so Jin could fill it with noodles. "Yeah, how'd that go. Did you make sure she got to her room safely?"

I nodded, since my mouth was full of noodles.

"Woah, woah, who's y/n, what hotel, what's going on?" Jin looked from me, to Jimin, then to Namjoon, an eyebrow raised.

Namjoon sat down, stirring his noodles. "Y/n is a sweet girl I ran into today. She came here from New York. She looked kind of lost, so I sat next to her, and before I knew it, we were talking."

Jin looked confused. "Wait, you just sat next to some strange girl, and started talking to her?"

"Yeah, like I said, she looked lost. I wanted to see if I could help her. Turns out, she came to Seoul to get away from an unpleasant situation."

Jin stood there with his mouth open, looking at Namjoon.

"Don't look so shocked, you know I don't like to see anyone in distress. I always try to help people if I can. Besides, she was really nice, and we had a lot of fun at the arcade. Didn't we guys?" He looked from me to Jimin.

I nodded. "Yeah, she's pretty good at ping pong." Jimin nodded in agreement.

I suddenly remembered something. "Do you guys know that she's never heard of BTS? I mean, it was kind of obvious, since she didn't recognize us."

Namjoon shrugged. "Yeah, I got a little worried after I told her my name, not even thinking, ya know. But It didn't seem like she recognized me at all. You didn't tell her anything did you? How would you know she's never heard of us?"

"We stopped to get a drink, and sat for a few minutes talking. It got quiet at one point, and I started singing. When I was done, she asked me what the song was called. I told her, and asked her if she'd ever heard of BTS. She said she hadn't."

"Well good. I'm actually hoping she doesn't figure it out right away. I want her to just think of us as friends, normal people, ya know?"

"Uh, she may figure it out pretty soon." I glanced at Namjoon, thinking maybe I shouldn't say why.

"Why? What'd you do?" He glared at me.

"Nothing. She said she was going to look up the song I was singing, and she hoped whoever sang it sounded as good as me. If she does that, especially on youtube, she's going to figure it out."

"Aish Tae... you know how hard it is to make a friend who doesn't know about us!" He made his weird little grumble noise.

"I know, I'm sorry. Maybe she won't look the song up. Maybe she'll forget."

"What were you singing?" Jimin asked, looking doubtful.

"Spring day" I mumbled.

They all groaned.
