Very few, if any, secrets belong to just a single person. For this reason, I will use fake names and places. Does that make this diary any less honest? That is for you to decide. In a way it does, as the names and locations are not true and there may be an omission or two somewhere along the lines. But, does it matter if a name is changed or a detail is left out if all my feelings and intentions are honest. I have no right to disclose the identities and secrets of others, I only have claim to my own and due to their intertwining with others, they too must be shrouded from view. It all comes down to your personal definition of honesty. So think it over or flip a coin. Whatever you decide, it's your secret to keep.
