Chapter 9

"O-okay..." I stutter and take Taehyung's hand.

He smiles and takes me to the big black car, the one which I usually arrive in.

"Taehyung. Where do you think you're going?"

I turn around and see Taehyung's mother, walking towards us. He immediately drops my hand.

"I was going to go to the library.

There's a few books there that I want."

The mother raises her eyebrows.

"We have all the books in the world here."

Taehyung urges me to get into the car as he completes his sentence.

"Just not this one."

Seokjin gets into the drivers seat and we speed off outside.

"So, where do you want to go?" Taehyung asks.

"I don't know." I shrug.

"I heard that there's a horse riding area somewhere around here. Sound like fun?"

I smile at him for the first time. "Okay."

We go to the horse riding ground and visit the stable.

"This is Hazelnut, our only pure bred horse. She's a beauty, no?" The stable manager asks Taehyung.

"She sure is." He agrees.

As he leads it out, he laughs at me.

"Y/N, look behind you."

I don't even turn my head all the way around.

There's a horse's head on my shoulder.

"Oh. Neigh!" I giggle. Surprisingly, it neighs back.

I request the stable manager to let me take the horse, who was named 'Candy'.

Taehyung gets onto his horse with ease, but I struggle with mine.
"She's way too huge!" I complain, and Taehyung chuckles as he gets off his horse.

"Here. One, two, three!" He exclaims as he lifts me.

I sit down on the saddle and give Taehyung a thumbs up.

We slowly ride our horses through the green field.

"Hey, how do you know so much about horses?" I ask him, after his conversation about him and his old horse, 'Lola'.

"Well, I used to live with lots of animals. It started off with horses and cows and hens. Then it changed when I became rich. It ranged from birds to animals. Hummingbirds to elephants."

I gasp happily. "Elephants?!?"

He giggles and nods.

"Yup. I was that dumb. I didn't care how small or tall."

I look around. "Speaking of tall, where's Seokjin?"

Taehyung laughs at the comparison, but it fades after he realises that Jin was missing.

"COMING THROUGH!"

We look behind us and use the reigns to direct our horses away.

"JIN, LOOK OUT!"

I see Jin in the distance, bopping up and down on his galloping horse.

"HELP! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" He screams as the horse doesn't stop running.

"PULL THE REIGNS, HYUNG!"
Taehyung screams.

Jin does so, and his horse calms down. It begins to munch away on grass.
