One day.

Agot: (nasa garden nakatingin sa malayo)

Albert: (kararating lang and then pinuntahan Agot)

Agot: (feeling sorry for herself and feeling so alone)

Albert: hi sweetheart! (Drop a kiss on Agot's head) it's a nice weather for a stroll, are you up to it?

Agot: (just shrug)

Albert: let's go. (Tulak yung wheelchair ni Agot)

Pinasyal ni Albert sa paligid ng subdivision na tinitirhan nila. Dinala niya ito sa may park at dun sila nagpalipas ng oras.

Albert: (sit down on the bench tabi ng wheelchair ni Agot) how are you feeling today?

Agot: fine.

Albert: how's your therapy sessions?

Agot: why bother asking when they all report to you?

Albert: gusto mo na makapaglakad ulit?

Agot: (just shrug)

Albert: you need to cooperate and do your sessions. Anjan yung mga therapists mo to help you, huwag mo silang ipagtaboyan.

Agot: (silent only)

Albert: you also need to help yourself Agot. Your doctors are very optimistic that yo could walk again pero kung hindi mo tutulongan ang sarili mo habang buhay ka matatali jan sa silyang yan.

Agot: and we can't let that happen. Paano nalang ang reputasyon mo?

Albert: this is not about me but about you, your welfare, your health. I'm doing everything I can to make you better. You help yourself also.

Agot: don't worry simula ngayon susundin ko lahat ng gusto nilang gawin para naman hindi masayang ang pera mo, at mababayaran ko din lahat ng ginastos mo sakin.

Albert: it's not about the money!

Agot: gagawin ko na nga di ba?! Ano pa ba a g gusto mo?!! Gusto ko na umuwi. (Wheel herself)

Albert: ako na. (Tulak Wheelchair ni Agot)

Tahimik at wala sila imikan pauwi.

Albert: (papasok ng bahay)

Alexa: (papasok galing garden) hi!

Albert: hi Alexa!

Alexa: (kiss Albert and then Agot) hi mommy!

Agot: hi!

Albert: how's school today?

Alexa: fine dad. Got a perfect score in our exam today.

Albert: that's my girl.

Alexa: syempre mana kay mommy eh, di ba mom?

Agot: (just smile na pilit then) I'm going to rest, excuse me. (Wheeled herself towards the elevator)

Albert: pagpasensyahan mo na ang mommy mo. Mainit lang ang ulo.

Alexa: (sigh) it's okay dad.

Sinundan ni Albert si Agot sa room nila and made sure that she's okay and comfortable bago siya bumaba at pumunta sa home office niya.

Later.

Albert: (sleeping)

Agot: (nagising and would want to go to the bathroom but ayaw naman niya manggising kaya bumangon siya and get her wheelchair at pinalapit ito sa bed then try nga ilipat self niya sa wheelchair but hindi niya mabuhat self niya but sinusubukan pa din niya but sumimplang ang wheelchair niya at na out balance siya kaya nahulog siya sa bed. Naiyak dahil feeling helpless siya)
