Jimin changes out of his top, putting on a black shirt and jacket as Areum changes into a pink crop top and jeans.
They walked out of school together, with Jimin's spirits still low. Areum suddenly grabs Jimin's arms, "Hey! Now that you're with me, you should only be happy, okay?" She says cheerfully.
Jimin tries to smile, it was the happiest that he had ever seen Areum and he was frankly surprised that they were spending time together outside of school.
Was this considered a date?
Before Jimin could even answer his own question, Areum had already dragged him into one of the cafes located at the side of the road. It was one of those cafes that you wouldn't enter unless you were on a date.
The overall vibe of the cafe was romantic, with lowly dimmed light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, succulents placed on the table and along the window pills.
When they sat in their seats, they began talking and it surprised both of them about how they were able to converse naturally without any awkwardness.
They talked about everything, from food to movies and friends. But they stayed away from the topic of school because Areum knew that it may hurt Jimin more.
Their conversation helped Jimin keep his mind of school and his father, and Areum was glad that she was able to help him even though she feels that her efforts were not enough.
She takes her phone from the pocket, quickly snapping a picture of Jimin.

She posts the picture on her snapchat, and after finishing their food, they exit the cafe together. They were now walking in the streets, hands lightly brushing against one another at some parts.
Jimin didn't seem to be affected by this, but Ahreum's heartbeat seemed to beat faster every time their hands touched. It felt as though electricity was rising up her arm.
The day ends with Jimin and Areum waiting at the bus stop, the sun setting.
"Thank you for today, I had fun." Jimin states, looking over to Areum carefully for her reaction.
Areum smiles, lowering her head shyly. "It was nothing, I barely did anything but I had fun too." Her face was hotter now, and she feared that she was blushing.
When Areum reaches home, she checks her phone to realise that Jimin had updated his snapchat.
