One month left

Jihyun's POV

"Flight ***** has now landed" The speaker announced
I looked over to my phone

6:30 am
August 12, 2018

*sighs* I only have one month left

"Appa!" Joo Hyuk called out while waving his hands

I just ignored them and pretended to listen to music on my phone
"Are you ready for Canada?" He asked
They all nodded and I ignored...again

I wonder when they would shut up about Canada
Day and Night they would talk about Canada
Canada here. Canada there. UGHHH!!!

I rode the car without talking and surprisingly, they didn't talk to me. Which is great, probably because I was pretending to be asleep. My brother was driving. Mom wasn't with us because my dad wanted to "surprise" her with all this leaving shit.
I knew she would be excited tho. Sometimes I wonder whats the use of this. Money? Thats it? Money?

We reached home and I went straight into my room

I dialed Nanhee
"Nanhee, meet me at the park in 30. Bring Eunha with u as well"
I hung up before she could say anything.

I wore a gray sweater Eunha gave me with sweats and went out.
"Yah! Where are you going?! You haven't even said a single word to me yet!" My dad said while holding on to my arm
"Whats the point dad?" I answered back. This is a rlly bad thing to do....don't do this kids

I walked slowly to the park...probably took me 20 mins to reach there
I hung my head low and stared at the ground while walking
I felt someone back-hugging me while sobbing
It can only be one person
"Eunha...im very sorry" I said while hugging her back
I didn't notice tears streaming down my face
Why does Epiphany have to play at this time?! Why now?!
"I thought *sob* you left*sob* already*sob. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY NIGHTS WE WERE THINGKING WHERE YOU WERE!"
I kept silent
"Why do you have to leave?" She asked
"Idk...." I replied emotionlessly

We sat on a bench nearby having a quiet moment until....
"JIHYUN!!! YAH! I FCKIN HATE YOUU!!" I heard Nanhee shouting from the distance
"Shhhhhhh!" Eunha shushed while her eyes were clenched closed with tears dripping down her eyes

Hard slaps started hitting my back. I don't blame her for hitting me like this. It was my fault. I didn't show up. I made them worry.

I stood up and gave her a tight hug.
"I'm really sorry"
I just felt my shoulder getting wet with her tears
Her eyes became a pinkish red. is that even a color?!

"Yah...how about me?" Eunha asked bluntly
We all came in for a group hug and cried our asses out

"Can we stay at your place tonight?" Nanhee asked out of nowhere
"Pweeeaseee Eunhaa!!" I begged while I was on my knees
"Sure"
"Yayyy" Me and Nanhee squealed
"Let's get ice cream first, my treat" I suggested
"GREEK YOGURT FLAVORR!!" They said in unison
"Sure"
