Chapter 17

Merida's POV

I awoke to the sounds of an animal scratching the door.

Who could it possibly be.

Waah.

I slowly got up.

Everything seemed to come to me very slowly.

It seems that I'm still sleepy...

My eyes closed and opened as I groggily walked up to the door.

The door didn't open at first.

Maybe cause I wasn't really trying but...

Getting frustrated I slammed door open, making me hit myself in the face.

Uggghhh.

That hurts so much.

A dog ran in making me rub my head and look at the dog.

Who's dog is this??

The dog jumped into my bed and laid down.

I squinted my eyes at the dog.

"Ok who are you"I said while grabbing a small knife from my desk drawer.

The dog immediately got up.

"NO no wait"The dog said while fog started forming near him.

A naked man is what appeared when the fog disappeared.

Without a second thought I hurled the dagger.

The dagger purposely missing his head.

"Who are you"I asked while the man covered himself.

"Flynn"He said while turning red.

"Can I transform again? Without you hurling another dagger"He said making me nod.

This time he had clothes on and he slowly got up.

"Why did you try deceiving me?"I asked making him scratch his neck.

"It wasn't on purpose"He said.

I glared at him making him gulp.

"It wasn't on purpose at first"He said.

Elsa suddenly came in and looked at the both of us.

Confusion was written all over her face as Flynn got up from the bed slowly.

"Elsa lets be civilized people"Flynn said

"Hmmm the most civilized can be the most rogue"Elsa said as she ran to Flynn and pinned him to the wall.

Her eyes were glowing and Rapunzel came to my room and her mouth gaped.

Ok now I don't have to deal with him.

"Elsa don't make us your accomplices"Rapunzel said making her huff and let Flynn go.

"Too bad"Elsa said as she sharply turned around and grabbed Flynn from his shirt.
"I CAN EXPLAIN"He yelled from the end of the hallway making me look at Rapunzel who looked at me before we both ran towards Elsa.

"Then explain you pervert"Elsa said while letting him go.

"I was out walking and the reason why I turned into a dog was because it was less... suspicious"
"Suspicious of what?"Elsa said making Flynn look at me.

"Movement"

"You also saw it"I told Flynn making him stand up slowly.

"They must be looking for you then... I saw them and transform to a dog. If they were to find me they would think I have a dog... but they seemed to have your scent all over them"Flynn said.

"That's what led me here"He added making me look at the floor.

When could have they gotten my scent?

"I don't think it was you though, it was very faint as if they had something of you"He said.

"That's not comforting whatsoever"I said making him scratch his neck.

"Sorry but I just wanted to get to the bottom of this"He said making Elsa look at me.

"It could be the person that attacked you that time in the forest"Elsa said making me nod.

"But... There's something that isn't fitting"I said.

Flynn looked up and it seemed to click.

"The clothing"We both said at the same time.

"What do they wear"They all asked me.

Geezh yeah they don't think it's me.

"At the same time"Flynn said making me raise an eyebrow.

He signaled with his hand.

"Staff clothing"We said in union.

"Then that will be a little off, since staff aren't allowed out of the campgrounds"Elsa said.

I nodded and looked out the window.

"What if they've been watching her"Flynn suggested sending a shiver up my spine.

"What for"I said making him shrug.

"I thought you would have a clue"He said making me shake my head.

"No I don't"I said while scratching my head.

Suddenly an alarm rang out making us cover our ears and run out of the cabins.

The smell of fire is what made us look to the left and see one of the cabins burning.

Everyone was looking at me.

Oh of course they would.

Flynn patted my head making me smile a little.

"Thanks"I mumbled making him nod as Tooth came towards us.

"Merida... Are you ok"Tooth asked making me nod.

"Elsa you know what to do"Tooth said.

Why does everyone think its me?

Elsa extended her arms creating a blizzard which created the fire to die down.

Everyone seemed to settle.

"Come on let's go in"Flynn said making me look at him weirdly.

He looked at me and smiled awkwardly making me roll my eyes and look at Elsa who didn't join us.

She left to who knows where.

Hiccup soon approached us and joined us inside.

We continued to talk about the suspicious person but something didn't sit well with me.

The person knows everything.

...My family hasn't answer any of my calls...

And the fire.

There's no denying that the person is after me.

But the fact that I don't know why is infrutating.
