Merida's POV

I lazily got the spoon from my plate while listening to my friend babble on about a party.

"Come on live a little," She said making me sigh and chew on the small meat of the soup.

"You do realize that my Father is a policeman... Right?"I said trying not to roll my eyes.

"Ask your Mom... Com on Mer don't leave me alone... Besides Alec is going"

Everything stayed quiet.

"That can't be,"I said while sitting up, my hand gripping the phone tightly.

"He said he wasn't going..."I said softly and heard her quiet down.

"Oh dear... I'm sorry" She said making me quickly get up and grab a coat from my closet.

"I'm going"I yelled at my Mom who looked up.

"I'll go to the party," I said to her but didn't hear her making me glance at my phone.

She's still there... I closed the door and looked up.

There he is...

Again, the ghost is there.

He had a red coat with black pants that were covered by a green quilt... almost like a Scottish soldier, his red hair flared with the wind making me snap out of my trance and begin to run.

As long as I can remember I've always seen him.

But more important Alec is going to a party...

I should've guessed that he wouldn't turn down a party.

This is just like him.

Two times he has gone to a party to meet girls...

Yet I never found it in myself to break up with him.

This time for sure, I'll break up with him...

That is if he is with a girl.

To be completely honest I should've broken up with him a long time ago.

My eyes quickly scanned the place as I looked around.

Everyone parted ways for me when I entered.

Oh well, and I wanted to come in quietly and unnoticeable.

Ugh, one of the downsides of being popular.

My phone beeped making me realize that I forgot to hang up on her.

Anna where are you?

I scanned the whole room and saw him making out with a girl making me close my eyes and sigh.

Of course.

What did I expect?

He still hasn't noticed me here...

"Alec,"I said firmly making him stop and look at me.

"Merida," He said while dropping the girl on the floor.

"I think you already know what this means,"I said emotionless.

I thought it was going to hurt but I feel nothing.

Before he could say anything I turned around and left.

Someone bumped into me spilling their drink.

He apologized continuously making me want to punch him.

After a while, I was able to reach Anna.

"Oh god you reek of alcohol," Anna said while pinching her nose.

"Someone spilled it on me,"I said while huffing.

Suddenly police sirens were heard making me look up, wide-eyed.

Everyone started to run in different directions.

Anna grabbed my hand and we all started running.

Damn it.

Father surely is one of the cops that are here.

People were pushing one another.

Most were purposely pushing against me.

They probably think that I'll get out of this one.

Soon I lost my grip on Anna's hand and stood there as Father's patrol car pulled up.

I'm not getting out of this one...

~~~A Few Moments Later~~~
I swung one of my legs back and forth in the police department.
The lady at the counter was typing leaving the room utterly silent beside her typing.
From here I can see Father discussing something with other police officers.
Surely Mom already heard about what happened.
My head laid in the back of the chair as I looked at the white wall.
I could already hear Mom's bickering.
"Let's go home Merida,"Father said making me get up silently.
"Fat-"
"It's fine besides you're going to explain this to your Mother," He said making me flinch.
Fudge...
Should've seen it coming though.
I sat in Father's car and took off my sweater that reeked of alcohol.
When we enter Mother was waiting making me rub my neck.
"Sorry Mom," I said while avoiding eye contact with her.
She shook her head in disappointment and said no more.
She turned around making me look at her back... she's always so posed, like a queen.
"You'll do as I say and you won't get out of it"She before going to her room.
I groaned mentally.
What is she going to do now?!?!
The Next Day
Third Person's POV
Elinor was trying to calm down the triplets as she looked at pamphlets for a camp that would hopefully straighten up her daughter.
What did I do wrong? Have I not raised her to be a proper lady Elinor thought as she let out a small sigh.
She continued looking around not noticing a woman that was looking at her.
"Hello, Good Afternoon are you looking for something specific?"The woman said making Elinor turn around to face her.
Oh dear... She looks so unprofessional with that type of hairstyle Elinor thought but decided to answer the question.
"Yes a program that might help with someone's discipline," Elinor said making the woman smile.
"Ah yes... There are many but the one that works the best is this one"The woman said while showing a pamphlet that captivated Elinor.
In a heartbeat, Elinor signed Merida up for the camp.
The woman went to the back storage and smiled.
"We got her," She said to one of her fairy creatures.
They smiled as they looked back at Elinor who was walking away.
Dust accumulated in the small space and soon the woman disappeared.
