Dear Ana,

i'm afraid of so many things.

i'm afraid of failure,
afraid of spiders and centipedes,
afraid of never being able to love myself,
afraid of the future,
afraid of being alone,
afraid of letting go,
afraid of death and when it's going to happen,
afraid of someone in my family dying,
afraid of drowning,
afraid of getting in a plane crash,
afraid of the sensation of when you can't breathe when you're underwater, which is why i'm a terrible swimmer,
afraid of getting cancer,
afraid of you.

i so wish i could be fearless.
