Divide and Conquer (Sequel to Behind Enemy Lines)

Chapter One:Requested Upon Arrival

"Are dating him or something?"

I glance at Thor. He's already looking at me. I stare back at Jane and Darcy.

"Yeah I am. And I'm in love with Loki," I say.

Both their eyes go wide. So now they know. I don't wait for them to respond.

"That's why I didn't feel comfortable when someone talks about Loki like that," I say.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know," Darcy says.

"It's fine.

3 weeks later

Thor and I are getting ready to leave. Natasha' and Clint's wedding are in a few days. We're saying bye to Jane and Darcy. Jane hugs Thor. He huds her back. I just awkwardly stand off to the side. I already said bye. I fiddle with my fingers. Then someone steps infront of me. I look up. Thor is standing there.

"Took you long enough," I mumble.

"I can take longer," he retorts.

"Then you can just stay here."

"But you would miss me."

"Who says I would miss you?"

"Well that was rude."

"Does it look like I care?"

"No."

"Let's go."

"Ok."

We got in a car and drove to the airport. After getting on the plane I settled in my seat. Thor sat next to me. Shortly after we took off Thor fell asleep. I watched him sleep. It's creepy but soothing. Something about Thor soothes me. But not in a sexual way.

After we land we exit the plane. Thor and I walked through the airport. Near the exit two men walk up to us. They're wearing suits. Most likely S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. But what do they need from us? The one infront of me has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and is a little taller than me. The one infront of Thor has black hair, blue eyes, and same height at the one infront of me.

"Hi. I'm agent Slater and this is agent Ramirez," The one infont of me said.

He held out his hand. I shook it. Then agent Ramirez's hand. Thor did the same.

"Is there something wrong," I ask.

"Fury needs you two to report back to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base," Ramirez said this time.

"Now," Thor questions.

"Yes."

"Ok then," I say.

We walk out and enter a car. Ramirez gets in the driver side. Slater in the front passenger street. I'm behind Slater. Thor behind Ramirez.. We sit in silence. I stare out the window. We're in New York again. The battle happened here. This places brings back so many memories. Most of them are good. The memories of the battle flashes in my mind. I stop thinking about the battle. But start thinking about Loki. He's probably the greatest thing that has happened to me. Everything about him just makes me so ecstatic. When I think of I can't stop myself from smiling. Which I'm doing now.

"What are you smiling about," Thor asked. I turned my towards him.

"Nothing really."

"I haven't seen you smile like this in a while."

"Just haven't had a reason to."

"Are you thinking of how amazing we won the battle?"

"Yeah." It's not a lie. But isn't the truth either.
