Chapter One:Requested Upon Arrival

Start from the beginning

"Who is it from," Thor asked.

"Natasha."

"Wouldn't she have called us?"

"That's what I was thinking."

I started reading the letter. It's a invitation from Natasha and Clint.

"What is it," Darcy asked.

None of your business it what I wanted to say. But I played nice and didn't.

"It's a wedding invitation from Natasha and Clint," I reply.

"So we have another wedding to go to," Thor asked.

"Yeah. But we'll see everyone again. So it wont be all that bad."

"That's true. We haven't seen everyone in a couple months."

"Yeah."

"When is it," Jane asked.

"A few weeks. That means you have to wear a tux again Thor," I say.

"That means I get to see you in a dress," Thor says back.

"But I don't want to. I don't like dresses."

"Why? You look beautiful in one."

"I just don't. You know me Thor. What I like to wear. And what I don't."

"I do know you. But like I said you look beautiful in one."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because you know how I feel."

"It's been a year. I don't remember." I tease while smiling.

"I know you are. You can never keep a straight face."

"Yes I can. And honestly I don't."

"You're smiling."

"That's because I want to."

"Sure. You like picking on me, don't you?"

"It's fun. Besides you're the only one who teases back."

"Are you guys together or something," Darcy asked from across the room.

Thor and I both tensed. Now it's awkward.

"Um... no. We just like to mess around," I say.

"Besides Araceli is with someone," Thor adds in.

I shoot him a look.

"Oh. Who is he," Jane asked.

"He's no one," I say still staring at Thor.

Thor opens his mouth to speak. I look over at Jane and Darcy. They're looking at us expectantly. From my peripheral I see Thor close his mouth. He's still staring at me.

"Thor you might find this awkward. But I find Loki attractive," Darcy says.

Thor turns his head towards her. Now it's awkward again.

"Good for you," I mumble.

"Huh," Darcy asked.

"I said good for you."

"What's wrong," Jane asked.

"Um... nothing. Just had a lot on my mind," I lie.

"Something is. You've never acted this way before." She must've seen through my lie.

"I just don't feel comfortable talking about Loki like that."

"Why," Darcy asked.

"Because he's special to me," I say.
