It's been weeks since then and Kagami has settled for the job of a translator online. She finds documents, translates them to Japanese, Mandarin or English and then gets her pay. It's quite flexible and the pay is good enough to pay rent and other such things.

So far, she's only been making trips around Yuhi (which she learnt is the short for Yuhitochi) while shying away from the other countries in Edane. She had already written down observations and the things that she had learned from dealing with the mirror.

So far she's collected enough data on it to satisfy her curiosity.

#1: Time is faster there by half.

It's something she figured when she decided to stay there for half a day and come back only to realize that the half day had not even come to pass back in her apartment. Then she stayed there for a full day, from morning to evening and came back to see the noon sun still in the sky.

With that, she had taken advantage and began to use that place as a place to rest and relax, falling into the role of a simple musician who only wishes to play. Already, she has managed to blend in with the country and its people as if she has been living there all her life. The simple life allows her this peace of mind as she rests from the fast paced world around her

#2: Whatever you bring with you, as long as you're holding it, it will come along.

She had realized this when she noticed that the map had come with her but was still unsure of it until she had brought a tea cup from a failed merchant in the city of Akasaki. It was on a whim and the tea cup was well-crafted. The design on it is simple, decorated by the iconic maple tree that grew in the middle of city, its height and large looming branches truly did make the city look like it was covered in red blossoms.

The merchant had looked at her with so much gratitude it was almost heart-breaking when she told him to keep the change. It truly speaks about the current economy of the country.

#3: You arrive to the last place you had stopped .

That one she had learned the hard way.

Literally.

She had been running from a bunch of bandits that had attempted to rob her blind. Never has she been grateful for the fact her older brother forced her to go to Judo classes. She was travelling from Komesato to the village of Shirakawa when she was spotted by some bandits.

She had run as fast as she could and reached the river rocky banks of the river that lead to Shirakawa village. The river that had given the village its name happened to be bright and almost white from a distance, the large boulders standing out against the afternoon sun. She darted behind a large boulder and went through the mirror as fast as possible.

She stayed in her apartment for a while, drinking some water and eating some refreshments. She also took the time to finish up some translation work before going back there. She figured that it would be alright to go back seeing as night would have fallen by then and went back to continue her journey.

She found herself landing on some rocks and ending up with a sore back.

That was not a fun journey for a short while until the feelings subsided.

So far that's all she has for her observations which isn't at all that surprising seeing as she's only been at this for a few weeks now. Currently she's taking a break from playing in the calm village of Shirakawa.

The name sake happened to be due to the river that runs between the village, the bank of the river and the way it looked in the light had given it the unoriginal name of 'White River'.
