After the dance, they picked up Nica and Zero and Jack took Y/N home. Once there, they sat on the couch.

"Thank you for tonight," Y/N smiled.

"Thank you for coming with me," Jack said.

"There's no one I'd rather go with except you," she stated.

He blushed as he responded, "I feel the same way about you."

Y/N blushed and scooted closer to Jack. He put an arm around her and she leaned into him. She let out a yawn as she snuggled into his chest.

"It's getting late; you should sleep," Jack said.

"I know. Do you mind sticking around?" Y/N asked.

"Not at all," he answered.

"Thanks. I'll be back," she assured and got up.

She walked to her room, changed into her pjs (A/N Back in Chapter 1), washed her makeup off, brushed her teeth, and brushed her hair out then put it in a messy bun (A/N Unless you have short hair, leave it down). She went back to the living room to see Jack still sitting on the couch.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Y/N apologized, making him turn around.

"No need to apologize," Jack insisted and added, "You still look beautiful."

She blushed and rubbed her arm nervously, making him chuckle.

"Come here," he requested.

She obeyed and sat beside him. She leaned against him as he wrapped an arm around her.

"Would you like to put a movie on?" Jack offered.

"Please," Y/N answered.

"Any requests?" he wondered.

"'Curse of Chucky,'" she responded.

He nodded and put it in. They watched it until Y/N fell asleep near the end of it. Once it was over, Jack put the movie back, picked Y/N up bridal style, and brought her to her room. He laid her on the bed, put a blanket over her, and kissed her forehead.

"Good night, my Pumpkin Queen," he whispered.

Before he could leave, he felt Y/N gently grasp his hand and he looked back at her to see her smiling sleepily at him.

"Could you stay the night?" she requested.

"Of course," he answered.

He got under the covers with her and he placed an arm around her as she snuggled into his chest further. Then she could hear him sing softly.

[Jack:]
"There are few who'd deny, at what I do I am the best
For my talents are renowned far and wide
When it comes to surprises in the moonlit night
I excel without ever even trying

With the slightest little effort of my ghostlike charms
I have seen grown men give out a shriek
With the wave of my hand, and a well-placed moan
I have swept the very bravest off their feet

Yet year after year, it's the same routine
And I grow so weary of the sound of screams
And I, Jack, the Pumpkin King
Have grown so tired of the same old thing

Oh, somewhere deep inside of these bones
An emptiness began to grow
There's something out there, far from my home
A longing that I've never known

I'm a master of fright, and a demon of light
And I'll scare you right out of your pants
To a guy in Kentucky, I'm Mister Unlucky
And I'm known throughout England and France

And since I am dead, I can take off my head
To recite Shakespearean quotations
No animal nor man can scream like I can
With the fury of my recitations

But who here would ever understand
That the Pumpkin King with the skeleton grin
Would tire of his crown, if they only understood
He'd give it all up if he only could

Oh, there's an empty place in my bones
That calls out for something unknown
The fame and praise come year after year
Does nothing for these empty tears"

Y/N smiled as she finally fell asleep.
