Keep trying, they say.
Fight the battle,
Don't let this beat you.
But then I ask them,
"Why fight a battle I don't want to win?"
I pass through the world,
Dreaming of a future I know I'll never have.
But they just keep telling me to fight.
I tell them I am,
But everyone knows it's not true.
I want to give up.
Break my promise.
Maybe that's what I'll do.
