I usually am the one who comforts others and I knew now he needed someone to comfort him.
So I followed him, as he reached the park near the café.
He took a seat on the bridge and begin throwing pebbles in the river below.
I kept myself hidden and silently watched him.
But what surprised me was one by one tear started falling off his eyes.
He was so broken, so vulnerable. I wanted to console him.
Although we just had a few talks, I am a human. Seeing him like this breaks my heart.
I silently went and sat by him, hoping that the vice-head chef handles the café well.
"Umm... Hey." Jin was shocked by my sudden appearance.
"Why are you here?" He said trying to hide his face. "Because I am your friend."
"Really, my friend?" He said with a humorless laugh. "As far as I know, I don't have any yet."
"Are you serious?"
"Mhmm... I am an idol if you don't know. But after serving all these years people still think I am talentless."
"I wonder why was I selected in the first place, and why am I still there?"
