Chapter 35

Right after my last class, I drove back home (Aprils & I apartment) I had to be ready by 7.

Zayn said he was going to pick me up about 7:30

So I had about 2hrs to get ready. I think that's enough time for me to get cleaned up

*2hrs later*

I wore a white laced skater dress & nude sandals.

I wasn't in the mood to be wearing heels, I was way to tired for all that

"Hey where you going missy?" April came in through the door

"I'm going out mother I hope that's okay" I teased

"Oh okay honey be safe now, make sure he wraps it" she laughed at her own "joke"

I rolled my eyes

"Yeah okay Ape I'll tell Zayn" I mocked i knew she hated when I called her Ape

"Ape? Really it's APRIL say it with me now A-P-R-" she was cut off by knock at the door

Just when I was about to open the door April pulled my arm

"Wait did you say Zayn back there? What!? no! he's bad news no you're not going out with him! Over my dead body Diana stop" i haven't had time to tell April about the conversation Zayn & I had at the park so she was being overprotective

"I'll explain later April I promise, we're okay now! For now we're just friends" I blew a kiss at her & moved her out of the door way & ran outside before she'd keep me inside

Zayn was a gentleman & opened the passenger door for me

Once we arrived to our destination, we walked into a HUGE mansion

It was so fancy, what kind of dinner was this?

"Zayn why are we here?" I asked a little bit confused

"It's Toms house, I want you to meet Heather & also my parents are here. I hope you don't mind love" he said

"Nope not at all" I nodded my head

I lied I did mind. This was going to be so awkward KILL ME NOW

As soon as we walked through the doorway the red headed aka Heather wrapped her arms all over Zayn. Ouchhhh

Can't deny that gave me a feel.

I looked away trying to play off that I felt totally uncomfortable

"Babe this is Diana, Diana this is Heather" Zayn introduced us

We both leaned in for a quick hug & faked smiled at each other

"Sweet cheeks come here I wanna introduce you into my big brother!" Heather told Zayn

Ew "sweet cheeks" I mocked to myself

Zayn motioned me to come along

We went outside on the patio, they were waiters walking around offering champagne

I immediately took some & took a BIG sip

Needed some alcohol to help me deal with tonight.

"Louis this is my boyfriend! I'm so glad you guys are finally going to meet" I heard Heather say

I spit back my drink into the glass & almost choked

Which caused everyone to look at me. Great ...

"Diana what's wrong are you okay?" Zayn patted my back

"Diana?! Diana Milton? Is that you?" Louis said shocked just as me

"Yes that'd be me" I smiled widely

"Well isn't this a small world" Heather said

I could tell she was so annoyed by my presence

After hanging out with Zayn, Heather & Louis

Zayn's parents showed up & greeted me

"DIANA! It's been so long, I've missed seeing you around doll" Zayn's mom said & wrapped her arms around me

When we let go of each other I looked over at Heather. Her face was full of jealously

I tried my best to ignore her rude remarks

We all sat in a long dinner table

I sat in the middle of Louis & Zayn's mother

Zayn & Heather sat across from us

Once I finished eating Louis tapped my shoulder & asked if I wanted to go out onto the patio

We excused ourselves & headed outside

With the corner of my eye I saw Zayn eyeing us
