Being an assassin was a dangerous job. You could get paid lots of money just for killing someone. Erica Sloane hired Walker and Jenkins for many reasons. They were the best assassins Sloane had. They were slick and quick; a quality Sloane needed in an assassin.
Slick and Quick. One of Sloane's favourite quotes.

August Walker woke up at 08:00. He was surprised to find his partner in crime, Courtney Jenkins, cuddling his arm while she was asleep. Did she fall asleep in his bed? No, that would be crazy. Did they sleep together the whole night? Sloane would be mad if that happened. How did she get into his bed? That was one question he couldn't answer. He didn't want to wake her up so he stayed in the bed, letting her cuddle his arm.

Courtney woke up an hour later. She quickly let go of his arm when she realised what she did.

"Did you get a good sleep?" August asked as he looked at her.

Courtney nodded and looked at him. "Yeah. Your arm was very comfortable."

He chuckled, making her smile. "How did we end up in the same bed?"

"That's one question I would like to ask myself." She sighed.

He looked at the time. It was 09:06. The phone rang. Courtney got out of bed and looked at the phone number.

"Sloane..."

She picked up the phone and answered the call.

(Sloane: BOLD/ Jenkins: ITALIC/ Walker: UNDERLINDED)

"Good morning, Boss. This is Agent Jenkins speaking. How can I help you?"

"Good morning, Agent Jenkins. There's something I need to talk about with Agent Walker and you. It's very urgent."

"Where would we meet you?"

"My office!"

"What time?"

"11am. You'll be free at that time, right?"

"I'll be back in a second."

Courtney turned the phone on to mute (it's an iPhone) and placed it on the bedside table.

"Are we free at 11am?" She asked as she looked at the assassin.

He nodded. "Yeah. Why are you asking?"

She sighed. "Sloane said she wants to speak with us. It's apparently very urgent."

August grabbed the phone and unmuted it.

"Good morning, Boss. This is Agent Walker speaking. We will meet you in your office at 11am."

"I'll see you in..."

He hung up and turned the phone off.

"That's sorted out then." He smiled. "We'll leave at 10am."

Ethan Hunt was heading out of the IMF offices. He had been told that the CIA and the IMF were teaming up to stop terrorists. He walked to his home and opened the door, walking inside of the building. He worked a lot so he was glad to be back home; his real home.

He walked into the living room before stopping in front of a picture. A picture of him and Julia; a picture that reminded him of memories. Memories that disappeared just because the love of his life went into hiding. She went into hiding for him. He longed for her; her touch; her body; her smile; her eyes; her everything. But he couldn't have her because she was hidden from society. He needed her. He just had to find her. He could find her. He should find her. Would he find her? Will she love him? Will he love her? The questions he asked himself couldn't be answered. He walked upstairs and sat on his bed, staring at the dull ceiling.

I'm gonna stay with you until we're grey and old

How could he stay with her if she wasn't there? He started cursing under his breath. He loved Julia. Did Julia love him? Why did he marry her if they were apart? He sighed and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep. He tossed and turned. Tossed and turned; that was how their relationship was. It was like it just... disappeared. He had no idea that Julia was on her way to him. He just had to find her and they would live happily ever after. It would be the end to their sorrows. Would he ever find her? Probably not. He had to find her, even if he got hurt on the way.
