G O R G E O U S new nude dress, I pursed my rosy lips and assessed the attire in the long, full length mirror. My mother stood beside me, her finger rubbing the tip of her chin as she hummed.

"I think you look stunning." Throwing her hands up into the air she shared a look with Sydney who attempted to hide the grin that begged to beam from her lips. "Agreed." She frantically nodded, nudging my mother as she whispered incoherent words into her ear. They burst out laughing, causing me to groan in frustration.

"What are you two giggling about like a bunch of school girls!" I voiced my thoughts and crossed my arms over my chests, my brows furrowing in confusion as I watched their eyes meet for a second and then slink back to my narrowed eyes.

Sydney's red curls glistened in the light that drifted through the clear glass windows of my mother's boutique. Her green eyes lit up, a cheeky grin appearing instantly. "We just love how you need our advice on an outfit for you to wear to a business meeting." I suddenly became lost for words as I lowered my hands to my sides and fumbled for a believable reply.

"He's a big client." I uttered under my breath. My mother flashed me a naughty look as she tipped back her glass of champagne. "I'm sure he is." I choked on the surrounding air whilst Sydney burst out into uncontrollable laughter that rang like the bells above the local church on a Sunday morning. "Mom!" I gasped, a hand reaching to hover over my chest, as I stood in astonishment at her crude joke.

"Oh come on, honey, loosen up." She smiled and placed the crystal glass down onto the counter with a clink, she stalked towards me and flicked my hair back behind my shoulders, cupping both sides of my face with her smooth hands. "Don't be so nervous. He's just a man." My mother was right. He was just a man and I hadn't a clue as to why I'd wracked up all these unnecessary words to attend a meeting with him! It was truly ridiculous.

"Alright." I breathed out, checking my watch with a mere glance. "I have to get going." I stated, stepping back into my favourite black heels as I grasped onto the handle of my handbag. "Good luck with the meeting." Sydney teased, waving goodbye with the flick of her fingers.

Leaving the boutique, I'd entered a passing by wave of fast pace walkers, joining in with the flow as I walked with determination and a head filled with jumbled thoughts. Crossing the road that was filled with yellow taxi's, their engines roaring as the drivers impatiently waited for the lights to turn green, I watched as the whole line zoomed off into the distance, joining into another lane of cars.

Turning the corner, I fumbled over my own two feet when my gaze settled on the large sign that marked the whole building as his. Felix Wolfe's. I'd briefly heard of his name in the past from my superiors at work. They'd all talked about how good for the firm it would be to have Felix Wolfe as a client. I assumed they'd be ecstatic to learn I'd signed his name to the list if this meeting went right.

Fortunately for me, I was good at my job and I was sure that he'd like what I'd have to offer for the contract he wished to be drawn up. Marching like a soldier into battle, I brushed my brown locks behind my ear and entered the building through the grand front doors. The building wasn't filled with same buzz as outside seeing as it was after work hours. I'd made it to reception and told the man behind the desk that I was here to see Mr. Wolfe about a contract.

I was told to enter through the lifts just ahead and I did exactly that, waiting patiently as the elevator took me up towards my destination. On reaching the empty floor, I'd peaked my head out through the steel doors and spotted a woman typing rapidly on a computer that lit up her features with bright white light.

Clearing my throat, I smiled. "Hi, I'm here to see Mr. Wolfe." The woman looked up and smiled in response. Her voice was as sweet as honey as she replied. "Of course, go on right in." Nodding, I knocked thrice and waited for confirmation to enter.

"Come on." His deep voice replayed in my mind like a broke record player and I froze for a mere second, before my soft fingers wrapped around the circumference of the doorknob, twisting it left as I pushed against the heavy door.

His office was as dark as his eyes. All the wood in the room was a deep chestnut colour and the walls were painted a merky grey colour and two lamps illuminated the room, small shadows lightly decorating the corners of the large room.

Shifting my eyes from the decor of the office to him. I felt my breath hitch in my throat. Today, Felix wasn't wearing a tie, his top two buttons of his white shirt were unbuttoned and the sleeves of said shirt were rolled up to his elbows, leaving his big arms on display. It was truly a sight for
sore eyes.

"Good evening." I politely whispered, unsure if he heard me when I received no reply. A moment later, his soft lips moved and his husky voice entered my ears. "Good evening." He rose form his large chair and I grew intimidated by his towering height, proceeding to gaze at him as he rounded the glass table and stood by two chairs. "Sit." He offered me in a gruff tone and immediately my feet moved at his command.

Dark eyes watched me as I glided across the room, my hand bag hanging from my fingers as I walked. "I suppose we should begin." I muttered, taking a seat in one of the chairs, feeling the heat radiant from his body as he eased into the seat next to me.

His thick fingers ran through the glossy strands of his obsidian hair, causing my chest to tighten at the pleasurable sight. The white of his shirt matched his tanned skin and I grew a sudden appreciation for the sight. "You wanted to start?" Felix spoke, his head shifting to the side as he watched me intently.

Coughing in embarrassment, I spluttered for words. "Oh-I-yes, sorry." I shook my head and reached for my bag, pulling out several files. "I think we should set up a meeting with your competitor to discuss the matter further once we've cleared up what you want." I went off into an explanation of my plan and not once did his eyes leave the side of my face.

I grew frustrated since I began to think he wasn't paying to attention to what I had to say. "Mr. Wolfe?!" I suddenly stopped, turning to match his eyes, only to shrink back and lower my voice.

Before I could ask if he was paying attention, he cut me off. "Felix." He stated and I rose a light questioning brown at him. "I want you to call me Felix."

Important Author's note

!PLEASE READ!

Things are about to get intense in the next chapter and I know how some of you will react to it but I want you all to remember that this is my story and what is about to happen fits into my plan of how the story will pan out exactly. Please don't start commenting the typical 'f*ck him' or, 'what a d*ck' since what is to happen next is purely because Felix is a dominant and possessive man who wants what he wants!! (It will not be one sided so he isn't forcing anything for all you people who are going to comment about how pushy he is etc.) I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'm certain that some of you will enjoy the next ;)
