Cameron's P.O.V

My baby sister is dating one of my closest friends, she has been hurt so many times and I can't stand it let alone if it's someone who I call a friend and a brother, if he ever hurts her I'll have his neck faster then he can take another breathe, if he hurts her she will be ruined that's her best friend and now boyfriend, why can't she just be with someone I don't know. Ugh Why do girls have to be so damn complicated.

Devyn's P.O.V

Poor Rye is terrified of Cameron who is being a down right asshole. I don't blame Rye for being scared, he has seen what Cameron will do to someone for messing around with some other girl behind my back, I mean one guy can't see out of his right eye anymore.

*start music*

I go and knock on Robbie's door and he opens it "Can I talk to Cam alone please" I smile to Robbie, Rob moves to the side to let me in and then walked out closing the door behind him. Cameron is laying on the bed with his headphones in staring at the ceiling, I go and sit on the bed beside him "Cam" I say while grabbing his shin, Cameron takes out his earphones and puts his phone beside him and looks at me "what" he says in a snappy tone "what's up your ass" I say surprised at his tone "nothing but one of my closest friends is up yours" Cameron says annoyed, him saying that pisses me off but I kept my cool as best I could "look cam I know that you are upset, I get that but you need to give Rye a chance" I say "I hate seeing you hurt Devyn and he is going to hurt you just like everyone else you told me to give a chance to. He will find someone better"Cameron says, I look down hurt at what he said, I got up from the bed holding back tears and walked out of the room and Cameron follows you into the hall "look all men are dogs!" He yells after you "Yeah, and you're a fucking snake" you shout back crying as you turn to look at Cameron while you are standing in front of ryes room,Cameron looked hurt but you didn't care. Rye came running upstairs as soon as he heard you yelling, when he saw you crying he glared at Cameron, put his hand on your back and guided you into his room "And your scared of me hurting her" rye says angrily at Cameron before turning and going into his room.

Rye's P.O.V

"Look all men are dogs!" Cameron yells "Yeah, and you're a fucking snake" Devyn shouts back while crying, as soon as I hear her crying I run up the stairs almost tripping up them, when I saw that Devyn was crying 100% I glared at Cameron then I put my hand on her back guiding her into my room "And you were scared of me hurting her" I say angrily at Cameron and then I turn and go into my room closing the door behind me. Devyn is standing about 5ft from the door crying with her head in her hands, I walk up to her and wrap my arms around her pulling her into my chest, "shhh, your ok" I almost whisper "your ok" I whisper very quietly "here, jump" I say to her and she jumps up and I grab her thighs and carry her to the bed, lay her down then snuggle her and give her kisses all over her face and take her bun out carefully so I can play with her hair. Like 3 seconds after I took out her hair there was a knock at the door "who is it" I ask cause if it was Cameron I wouldn't answer after that, "your mother" my mum says at the door "ok, come in" I say laying there hugging Devyn "what was that about?" My mum asks "...me" I say quietly "how" my mom says "cam is protective over Dev and doesn't like that we are dating" I explain to my mom "oh, Devyn hunny are you ok, you seem quiet" my mom asks Devyn "I'm fine I just hate fighting with Cameron, we are both stubborn people" Devyn says half smiling "ok well I made cookies I'll bring 2 up for you guys" my mom says then leaves. "Next" Robbie says at the door making Devyn and I to laugh "I will talk to Cameron about you guys and get him to calm down about the whole thing. But I can't apologize for you calling him a snake, or him being rude in general" Robbie says to Devyn "thank you robs" Devyn says giving him a hug "but I'll have to work up to apologizing, maybe after we get back from Mikey's" she continues "ok,I'll go talk to him" rob says, then my mom comes back in with the cookies we both thank her and she shuts the door when she leaves. We finished the cookies and Devyn put her head down on my chest again and I could tell she was thinking about what happened with Cameron today and then a tear fell from her eyes followed by a few more "I wish he would just accept the fact that your a good guy and you won't hurt me" Devyn says twirling the string to my sweater in her fingers while crying a little, i wrap both my arms around her and say "he is your older brother he will always be protective of you no matter what, even if you don't want him to be he will" "but why doesn't Kyle do that?" She asks "I couldn't tell ya" I say and she just lays there and sighs, "why are boys so complicated" she says making me laugh
