The next day

Kol's pov

I woke up early and went to check on the boys "morning daddy" they chirp as I enter the room making me chuckle as I see them sat up in bed. "Are you two ready to get up?" I ask they nod "okay then get dressed and we'll go down for breakfast" I say they nod and get out of bed. Grabbing the clothes that Davina set out last night for them to wear today. I chuckle as I watch them rush to get dressed "let me help buddy" I say to Jace chuckling as he pulled on his pants the wrong way. "Don't laugh at me daddy" he says "I'm sorry buddy" I say as I help him put on his pants the right way "look at me daddy" Zander says with his arms open wide wearing a grin on his face "looking good buddy" I say he clicks his tongue as he gently tugs at the collar of his shirt, yeah he definitely takes after me. "Right come on you two" I say they take my hands as we leave the room and head downstairs. "Good morning" they cheer as we enter the dining room "hello" everyone replies smiling at the two who quickly run over to their chairs "where's Davina?" Rebekah asks as she pours some apple juice into two glasses for the boys "she's still asleep she had a rough time getting to sleep last night" I reply "why's that?" Elijah asks "she had a bad headache and she said she kept getting clammy during the night. She didn't get to sleep until 2 in the morning" I say Nik smirks "ah so she won't be up for a while brilliant. I don't have to see her annoying face" he retorts I instantly glare at him and go open to respond but I'm cut off as he yells as a snapping sound is heard. He falls off his chair as another snapping sound is heard "what the hell" Freya mutters "Jace no!" Elijah yells I look and see Jace is glaring at Nik with his hands clenched and his eyes are dark.  "Say sorry" he says demandingly "stop it! Jace that's naughty" Freya says  "he said something mean about my momma" Jace replies "say you're sorry" Zander says now joining his brother and glaring at him. "Okay boys that's enough. Your uncle is always being mean about people" I say they instantly stop and look at me. "I don't like uncle Nik" Jace says climbing off his chair "where are you going?" I ask he looks at me "I'm going to see my momma" he replies running out the dining room. "Thanks Nik you just upset my son" I say as he gets back on his chair with a huff "your son just broke my legs" he retorts "oh boo hoo you're the one who insulted his mother and you should know my sons don't take that lightly nor do I. If you insult Davina again I will see to it that your mouth is sowed shut" I reply glaring at him

No one's pov

Upstairs with Davina

Jace Mikaelon laid beside his sleeping mother while he chatted away to her even though she was asleep. Jace suddenly stopped talking and turned his attention to her stomach "hi there" he whispered as he heard a little thumping sound come from his mothers stomach. He moved his head and gently placed it on her stomach and listened to the thumping sound which instantly soothed him. He closed his eyes and smiled as the thumping sound sped up then slowed down before speeding up again.

Rebekah entered the room with a cup of apple juice for Jace. He smiled at the sight of the little boy cuddling up to his sleeping mother "Jace" she whispered Jace sat up and smiled at his aunt. "I bought you some apple juice" she said handing the little boy the cup "thank you" he said bringing the cup to his lips and taking a sip. "Where's my daddy?" he asked "he's just finishing breakfast with your brother" Rebekah replied with a smile. "Why is uncle Nik mean?" Jace asked his aunt "he's a complicated man" she replied he shrugs. "I don't like complicated" he replied making his aunt smile "I know but you'll get use to it" Rebekah replied before walking out the door. 

Davina's pov

I woke up and found Jace sitting beside me "hey baby" I say he looks at me "morning momma" he says smiling at me I sit up and pull him onto my lap. He lays his head against my chest "what are you doing up here?" I ask "Uncle Nik said something mean about you" he says I nod understanding. "I see, where's your daddy and brother?" I ask "downstairs" he replies snuggling against me making me smile. "Breakfast for the beautiful lady" I turn to the door at the sound of his voice and see Kol stood in the doorway with a tray in his hands "ohh" I say licking my lips as he approaches me with the food on the tray. Jace removes himself and sits beside me "good morning love" he says placing the tray on my lap "good morning" I say giving him a smile as he leans down to kiss me. "Eww" Jace says making us chuckle "Jace go play with your brother downstairs" Kol says Jace nods, climbs off the bed and runs out the door. Kol sits beside me as I start eating the pancakes Kol made me for breakfast "you make really good pancakes" I say closing my eyes at the fluffy texture of the pancakes. "All the best for my one true love" he says placing a kiss on my neck "hmm are you after something?" I ask my breath hitching in my throat as he peppers kisses up and down my neck. "Maybe" he mumbles sucking my neck "let me finish my pancakes" I say gently shoving him away. "Of course love" he says lying down beside me tucking his arms behind his head as I eat my pancakes and drink my juice. 

"Are you finished?" Kol asks as I place my tray on the nightstand table "yes" I say he grins and pulls me into a kiss which I happily return. He pulls away "I better take the tray down otherwise Elijah will have my head for not bringing down the dirty dishes" he says getting off the bed and grabbing the tray from the nightstand. He throws me a smile as he leaves the room and I get up and walk over to the draws to pick out some clothes for today. As I pull open the top draw I feel my stomach churn and I dash into the bathroom. Getting on my knees and hunching over the toilet as I throw up, tears blurring my eyes as I empty my stomach contents. Once I've finished throwing up I flush the toilet and slump against the toilet "what the hell is wrong with me?" I mutter as I slowly stand up and head back into the room. I walk back over to the draws and grab some underwear and socks, I place them on the bed and as I close the top draw and open the second draw, I feel my head start to spin. I place my hand on my forehead and close my eyes as the room starts spinning around me. "Davina?" I hear Kol say but I don't respond as I feel myself falling and as I feel a pair of arms enclose around me, everything goes black......

Uh oh what is wrong with Davina? Why did she faint? Is everything okay? Jace heard something thumping in Davina's stomach, what do you think of that? What will happen next? Stay tuned for more
