Kol's pov

I wake up with a sleeping Davina in my arms, I lean down and kiss her lips waking her up "mm good morning" she mumbles pulling away "good morning love" I say stroking her cheek with my thumb making her smile and lean up to kiss me which I immediately return deepening it a little. I pull away after a moment "so what's on the agenda today?" I ask stroking her arm "wake up the boys, get them dressed, make breakfast, do some cleaning and then Josh is coming over at two" she says "okay well before we wake the boys why don't we take advantage of this moment" I say winking at her as I run a hand down her body causing her to bite her lip. "Okay" she says bringing a hand to the back of my head and pulling me down for a kiss which quickly becomes heated as I roll on top of her trapping her beneath me as our lips connect and our bodies press against each other.

I pull away when I hear footsteps approach the room "hey why'd you stop?" Davina asks with a frown "the boys are awake" I whisper pointing to my ear to signal her to listen "I think they're still sleeping" Jace whispers "let's take a peak" Zander whispers I get off Davina and we quickly pretend that we're sleeping as we hear the door open "they're sleeping" Jace whispers "let's wake them up" Zander whispers and I smirk as I hear the mischief in his voice. "Don't even think about it" I say as I feel them climb on the bed "ahhh!" They squeal "you heard us?" Zander asks I smirk as me and Davina sit up "buddy we were already awake" I say "ohh" they say in usion making me chuckle "okay boys lets get you two dressed and then I'll make breakfast" Davina says getting out of bed lifting up Jace who holds up his arms to her "we want pancakes" Zander says and I give him a look "Zander what's the magic word?" I ask firmly "please" he says I nod giving him a smile "that's it now ask nicely" I say "mommy can we please have pancakes?" He asks looking up at her "of course baby" Davina says leaning down to kiss his forehead before helping him off the bed.

Once they've left the room I get out of bed and get dressed into a black T-shirt and jeans before heading to the kitchen where I start making pancake batter. "Hey" I hear Davina see I turn to see her stood by the doorway with the boys by her side "hey" I say "you don't have to do that? Let me help" she says walking over to me I wrap my arms around her and pull her into me "it's okay I wanted too and no you go get dressed I'll make breakfast" I say she goes to protest but I cut her off "go get dressed love" I say before pressing my lips against hers earning a smile from her and groans of disgust from the boys causing me to let out a chuckle as we pull away. "daddy that's gross" Zander complains "what? Am I not allowed to kiss mommy?" I ask "not unless we say so" he says "yeah" Jace chides "so I have to ask for your permission to kiss mommy?" I question with an amused smile on my face as I look at my cheeky sons who grin at each other before grinning at me "yes" they say in usion "okay then" I say giving Davina a smirk before giving her a quick kiss earning protests from them causing me and Davina to laugh "daddy no" Jace says "bad daddy you didn't ask" Zander scolds causing me to chuckle at the little scowl on his his face "I'm sorry my son's you're mommy is just too beautiful today" I say winking at Davina making her blush as she quickly leaves the kitchen. "Mommy's beautiful everyday" Zander says "indeed she is" I say nodding "you're a lucky daddy" Jace says making me chuckle at his words "why yes I am" I say turning back to the pancake batter "now who wants pancakes?" I ask "me!" They say in usion "okay well go sit at the table and I'll bring them to you" I say they quickly rush to the table as I start making the first pancake.

I smile when I feel arms wrapped around me while in the middle of making the third pancake, I already gave the first two to the boys which they're happily eating "hey do you want a pancake?" I ask as I flip the pancake with the spatchula "yes please" she says "with strawberries and cream on top?" I ask "you know me so well" she says removing her arms from around me and moving to stand next to me "I do" I say looking at her before sneaking a kiss when the boys weren't looking.

Once I've made the pancake I squirt on some cream and put some strawberries on top before handing it to Davina "thank you" she says leaning up to kiss my cheek "you're welcome love" I say grinning before turning to look at the boys "boys do you want another pancake?" I ask "yes please" Zander says I turn to look at Jace "Jace do you want another?" I ask she shakes his head "no daddy I'm full" he says patting his stomach "okay" I say "more pancakes for me then" Zander says clapping his hands I chuckle knowing he won't eat anymore than two pancakes.

Once I've given Zander his pancake I turn off the stove and place the pan in the sink before opening the fridge to grab two blood bags and I exit the kitchen not wanting to drink the blood in front of the boys.

When I return I find the boys gone from the table and Davina cleaning the dishes "darling let me do the dishes" I say "it's okay you cooked so I'll clean" she says "are you sure?" I ask "yes now go check the boys aren't fighting they're in the living room watching TV" she says while scrubbing a plate "okay" I say exiting the kitchen. I enter the living room and find the boys sat quietly on the couch watching TV "what are you boys watching?" I ask looking at the tv where some cartoons playing "Spiderman" Zander says "do you like Spiderman?" I ask "yes he's my favorite superhero" he says "yeah mine too" Jace chides I chuckle as they start discussing Spiderman between each other.

I head back into the kitchen "they're behaving they're watching Spiderman" I say seating myself at the table "that's good speaking of Spiderman it's their birthday next month and I'm planning on throwing them a Spiderman themed birthday party" she says walking over to me and sitting on my lap "that sounds great they'll love it" I say rubbing her leg as I wrap an arm around her waist "I want to make it special for them since they're turning four and it's the first birthday you'll spend with them" she explains I give her a sad smile as I think of the first three birthdays I missed along with all the other things I missed since they were born "well it will be special" I say she nods stroking my cheek with her thumb "it will" she says before pressing her lips against mine, I close my eyes as I lose myself in the kiss and I can feel her losing herself in the kiss too as it becomes urgent and a little needy but we don't care because we're too lost in the moment "daddy I know you're kissing mommy stop it" Zander says from the living room "yeah bad daddy" Jace chides causing us to pull away as we burst out laughing, only my sons would interrupt a moment like this like that.
